zekken, victor entry issue?

Traditional entry players who specialise on raze/neon but arent as good on jett.
this meta a jett entry is probably the most effective (aspas great example).

Both zekken and victor had an underwhelming lock//in compared to their prior standards.
Is this a consequence of teams building rosters around the chamber meta compositions? Both sentinels/nrg have better jett players on the roster (tenz/ardiis)
These players are now pushed towards an aggressive initiator role like a kayo/skye which is less dynamic in space creation but better in info gathering.
Victor fk/fd involvement has dropped from 0.3 [champs] to 0.2 [lock//in] (take this with a pinch of salt as it includes both atk and defence fk+fd)
Is it just a matter of time before these players settle into the role?
a player like zyppan so far looks comfortable but hes played the agro-initaitor role more commonly in the past

thoughts?
or am i just stupid?

i think it's just them figuring out the new roles since apart from zekken, no one that you mentioned is the primary entry anymore

Yeah so its like former entry players being moved into a more supportive role.

  1. zekken played one game vs the EMEA superteam on duelist so not sure how you can gather that much information on whether hes actually good or not
  2. victor only played duelist once vs loud on split, his kayo entry is more of gaining space and information for his team rather than getting kills, which evidently works. otherwise he played skye and killjoy, so sample size is too small.

Yeah its a very small sample size.
Im just trying to look deeper into the ingame roles that might have an impact on the players performances.
I dont think ingame roles are talked about enough though this might not be the best case in bringing it up.

Will get a clearer picture after the regional leagues start. This is too quick and too small of a sample size.

Yeah most likely.
though if we see that across the board that players who fit that "entry players who arent as good on jett" criteria then it could make sense.
probably way too early to decide on a case-to-case individual level

That's what I didn't understand in the KRU plan, xand is the best jett entry in Brazil and they gave him Kayo and Neon to play?

victor was always inconsistent (i rate him very low, easily the worst player on nrg/optic, the attack strats were made around him being traded and not him getting the first kill). zekken had a bad day. that guy is a demon and easily better than most other NA players in franchising. ( like better than cryo, tenz, ardiis, zellsiis whoever else you consider)

with the victor thing that why when talking about entrys i use fk+fd , to help include those fd's that are traded.
zekken is a very good player. im just thinking that the agent role swap and the ingame role swap might affect his performances short term. long term i think he will bounce back 100%.
