Master Slot at LOCK//IN

Hi, just want to ask if either Chinese team pull out a miracle and win LOCK/IN, does that mean the Pacific will get a slot for that? And I'm just thinking if the goal of the event is an extra Masters slot then each regional leagues just need to ask 1-2 teams to try hard and get it for the sake of the region?
