If it's like regular TV, I guess it could catch some alternative viewership base (from the non-enthusiast), but the question I'm more imposing is whether or noy the majority that would watch this hasn't already either subscribed on some streaming service (ie Disney+ Hotstar) or potentially just stumbled upon it online (where it's free)?

the majority most def would be the ones with OTTS (college students and people around that age) which dont have access to tvs in their college dorms
but def a huge population in india prefer tv over otts but the ones watching vcl the majority wont watch it on tv , since streaming services like twitch nd yt have chats which tvs dont have and people like that
and the Sports channel which would probably stream it (cuz they streamed Nodwins pubgm master series on the same channel) i.e. star sports
is still extremely popular since it streams major indian cricket matches exclusively (for tvs) so as you said many people will stumble on the games

I think riot will never make mistake to put on subscription streaming service it will kill the viewership...... Recent indian pubg tournament were on TV it was on regular TV .....

Yeah you are right there are places where people dont watch yt so it will be a huge boost because I guess it will telecast on star sports tv where 90% of cricket action happens there so majority of them will have this channel.

It won't reach BGMI level but 200-300k watching is easily achievable if its streamed on star sports, many people actually just open sports channel and afk lol. Also should help in growing the game more in the long term

They don't exist bro, forget about playing eSports their country is in some deep political and economical shit rn. They would never get a visa to India based on current relationship with India and YES major South Asian tournaments are gonna be played in India/Dubai ofc.
Major orgs also come from India only + India has a larger playerbase and eSports scene compared to Rest of South Asia combined.

I think Nodwin can because Pakistan players cannot ever get a Visa to India + it's hard to conduct a major tournament in India because event management is just mehh and availability of all facilities Dubai is somewhat viable.

there isnt any other country in SA which can match India in resources and audience, SA = India literally, BD is the only one who can come close rn, Pak and Sri lanka have an economic crisis, afghanistan is well... and nepal/bhutan are non existent
