REGION HISTORY
Apac valorant started in 2020 like all regions but in 2020 apac dont gets any investment from orgs and t3 tourneys
but riot started first strike for all sub region in apac and yes , its worked
after the first strike team orgs started to join valorant apac like full sense like mith
In 2021 they started to go international events and hype is increased and now 2022-2023 off season so many orgs and t3 tourneys does invesment to apac valorant

INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS
So lets look which rosters battle at international events

X10 = Patiphan , sushiboys , sScary , foxz , Crws ( they beat envy but no achievements in international )
TS = dubstep , witz , borkum , dispenser , JcVash ( they get 1 map from gambit's prime times but it dont means its achievement )
XIA = Surf , sushiboys , sScary , foxz , crws ( always grouped but they beat optic when they are in prime times )
PRX = f0rsakeN , benkai , mindfreak , d4v41 , Jinggg/shiba (they get the first achievement for apac they are 2nd team in copenhagen)
FS = JohnOlsen , chalalala , superbuss , ptc , lammysnax ( no achievements )
BME = berserx , fl1pzjder , blazeking , famouz , tehbotol ( no achievements )

APAC looks like not good at international event
they succeeded in only one of 6 international events.

HYPE
There is so many hype apac teams from apac fans

RESULT
+1 Point from 1 achievement
+2 point from hype
+2 point from investments

All aim no brain = APAC

until the end of 2021, APAC was pretty much no aim no brain as well. X10 was the first team to showcase asian talent to the world, and forsaken and patiphan were the leading players.

no offense but John Olsen probably had the biggest fall off of 2022.
its probably not his fault more of a team decline
but from being a champion qualified team (albeit not a very good one) in 2021
Highest rated player at apac masters split 1 2022
to not making it out of th groups (it was pretty stacked)

  • getting out shined by kadoom and surf (not even including non-th players)
  • losing to todak and nkt in smaller events

Is pacific league referred to as APAC from now on? In that case KR/JP teams count as well

well yeah cause this whole year apac only referred to sea + sa and oce so yes he probably was talking about the apac region from this year and not the whole pacific league as a whole
