Couldn't tell much from the details given maybe someone can explain but looks like riot want to expand more separately in India ?

6 Established Indian Esports Orgs + other 4-6 premiere clubs with buyins upto 150k$

looks v similar to what riot does in china

With the upcoming release of valorant mobile there will be huge viewership.Earlier pubg pc and pubg mobile have graphic difference and mechanics were also not same so people were not watching it but with valo mobile being similar to pc one with only little graphic changes there will be more viewers to watch the game and the hype is already there

And also I think that gives green light to some big orgs to invest that previously not investing because of limited opportunity

Bro fuck everything, just let GodL and S8UL enter the scene, will get 50-100k watching easily 🗿also S8UL hosted a valo tournament recently, and it had something like 20-25k live watching , and with Nodwin (W indian TO) investing, and putting so much cash into the scene, india will become an independent ecosystem like China did.

I think that is up to the organizer of every VRL? At least in Spain it worked pretty much the same way, teams that had an spot kept it and then pretty sure the rest of the spots were sold

Did it help the scene?

I do think it is a better system. It offers the players a safer environment to compete in and I think it’s the best for a long term sustainable league.

At the end of the day what matters to me is having orgs with the most resources, implication and fanbase posible. To me starting a league with open qualifiers instead is starting to build a house by the roof and not a solid floor
