sup guys, i was thinking about the challengers seris for the next year, that basically are going to be the tier 2 global, with the calendar ending in july, what you guys think about, its scares me a litle because, the teams are kinda staing 6 months without any oficial tournament, and since the game was launched never had a big non riot tournament, the main think that cause me and worry about this situation is that, probably lots of organizations will leave the game because of the leck of investiment on tier 2, an it may cause a big effect in the tier 1 leagues in long terms because they were not be abble to find new players if the tier 2 dies. What you guys think about this? i dont think just the chance for qualify at the ascention series will be enough argument to orgs to stay at the game, because its a big investiment and very risky one, and at the end it may cause and drastcally drop at salaries in tier 2 as well, another aspect that may cause a drop from players.

They still haven't actually announced much about the specifics of ascension league. Between the 6 months of tournaments they might add more tourneys or just 3rd party tournaments. But so far i also think theres a lot less official tournaments.
The ascension tournament itself might last upto 1.5-2 months

the ascention series will took 1 month or less based in what they show in ther site, the 3rd party tournaments will be a good call if they made something decent, not unrelevant tournaments that not even had a lan playoff with ridiculous prize pools... im still worried because, its already midle of october and the challenger series starts in january, and most of teams are even not seraching for players and worst have no info about how this is going to work next year.

the oficial calendar for next year-> https://valorantesports.com/vct-overview
