TSM: Resurgent or Washed?

What does TSM bring to the table now, the team was in disarray when they lost back to back to Luminosity and 100T. Roaster, tactical and agent changes? It will all come down to the match against Immortals in the top 8.

TSM were a good tactical team, but then other teams got better tactics. TSM were a good firepower team, but then other teams got better firepower.
They're washed and need a roster change if they want to stay competetive.

I think they got brax... and they definitely don't need a roster change or change of tactics.... they just need time... people like you said the same thing about Faze look at them now

I’m not sure you can look at FaZe and TSM the same way. FaZe has been on the come up and peaked recently. TSM peaked almost a year ago and has gone downhill every since. TSM needs change to improve, whether it’s IGL duty or actual players. IMO. Brax may be enough, we’ll see. They have to be able to beat 100T, their Achilles heel.

Wardell used to be a game changer. He was my favorite player and the first Valorant streamer I watched. I’m not sure if he lost his passion for the game (“too much Tarkov”), or if the competition caught up. Either way, he can’t carry hard enough, and I feel like he’s the last alive too often. (EDIT: And he has zero agent flexibility)

Subroza is so damn inconsistent. That’s really all you can say. I guess that’s why they keep him on smokes instead of duelists.

Drone has been down bad recently. Not sure why. He used to be a top-3 phoenix NA.

Hazed got moved from smokes to sentinels. Not fair to him, but he’s decent.

Cutler is just deadweight. Sorry “Clutchler,” but I don’t see how you deserve that nickname, or a spot on the team. If he was a good IGL, I could forgive his consistent bottom fragging. Obviously, he isn’t, or TSM would be a top-8 team.

I’d like to see these roster changes.

Wardell - Jett
Free agent - Second duelist
Drone - Initiators
Hazed - Smokes
Brax - Sentinels

They would still lack a solid IGL. I think Hazed used to IGL, but if Cutler replaced him as IGL, I doubt Hazed has a future in that role. Maybe Brax or Drone could IGL. Try something different.

I think they should keep Subroza on second duelist.

I’ve seen him play Reyna and that’s about it. Maybe some Phoenix if my memory serves me correctly. If that solves his consistency issues, I’m all for it. Cutler should have been testing him out on duelists for a while now. That’s the main problem.

EDIT: It’s been 3+ months since he’s played a duelist. He had a 1.21 KD on Reyna and a 1.05 KD on Phoenix. He’s played more Phoenix (870 rounds) than Reyna (214). My bad.

Subroza can go duelist with the current form, I think this is the last laugh for this roster if they can fancy something against Immortals later on in top 16 they will go on or it is all over.

I definitely think that they need more changes than just Brax. I assume Brax and Hazed are going to be swapping in and out because that's what we saw on the Myth clip where Hazed wasn't in scrims and Brax was. Personally I think Cutler is going to be on his way out, although I haven't watch many TSM vods recently, in my opinion he seems like the weakest Sova of tier 1 orgs and definitely the least remember able in terms of big plays or just good games in general. I don't know who they would pick up for this role but its a swap that I think needs to be made. Or, I think it would be interesting to see Drone move back over to the Sova and put Brax on duelist in order to keep hazed on Sentinel and then just cut Cutler or bench him. In my opinion if they don't want to have to drop more than 1 person this is the best option. This is getting quite long but I also think that Waddell's agent pool is going to be limiting in the near future so that may also be a roster change that comes further down the line.
