I'm afraid not I was never big on fortnite. I was a DZ fan from siege, but you can add Akrew and SoaR since they also bailed

Generally i need help with the asian scene because I didn't follow much. Is Cerberus/FancyUtd/Oasis still keeping their rosters?

CR will be there soon but TSM and Order should be removed from the list. TSM said they plan to remain in Valorant for 2023 while Order were actually going to make franchising but financially exploded.

But that’s dumb you ofc you release your roster with the amount of FA’s there is, you don’t know if they are building another one better. Excel kept Alive and Mad kept Polvi so I thought it was clear it’s a rebuild?

yeah ofc, It has not "killed" orgs like guard xset and faze- their players will probably not get franchised and play for the ascension tournament next year. (Cryo/Trent/Dicey might get franchised)

Yeah I was talking about EMEA cause it’s what I know best, but I’m definitely watching NA VRL too. Who wouldn’t wanna compete in a league with XSET, Ghost, OPTC, GUARD, FAZE, V1, Knights, Shopify and 2 more, it’s gonna be great anyway

Cool if you know about EMEA more than NA, I am still confused where FPX and M3C will go

Well, only one can ascend. I don't think orgs have the patience to pay exorbitant amounts in wages in the prospect that they might get into franchising in the next 2/3 years.

And let's face it, the Ascension league will not have satisfactory viewership or brand promotion.

-Bigetron in APAC has decided they probably not gonna continue with valorant, unless they get some notable players

I mean i do think everybody's wages will lower due to them being in Tier 2 valorant, and isn't LCQ exactly Ascension but on a grander stage? I am sure many orgs will still compete- Valorant is the 2nd most watched Fps esport right now, I think investing into this will 100% be the right call

i doubt many players will agree to playing with lower wages for an entire year. Wages in EMEA are already low.

Do what are they gonna do? Go to CS? Dude tier 2 NA players get easily 10k a month, I think it’s enough to survive while you build your career isn’t it

That’s the problem, you’re seeing being on the VRL like a waste of time when it’s really not, just look at all the orgs there is in EMEA tier 2 this year and it really was worth it for them, viewership and sponsors is what gives them the money at the end of the day, and that VRL is gonna be the biggest one in the world.

Plus franching is revisable in 4 years, if an org leaves the scene rn is basically condemning Valorant for their team forever, since Riot is def not gonna consider them if they come back it the year before the revision

in addition, there is a promotion system whereby the possibility to enter the franchise for the finished orgs in tier 2 is there. I hope this is the way orgs like G2, Faze or Mad Lions go
