If you don’t make franchising you have to go back to CSGO

Riot split VCT into 3 regions - APAC Americas and EU. In each region there are 10 teams, all accepted by riot, with big fanbases and money to be able to buy the best players, have the best facilities and feed into the esport as a whole. Prgs are accepted for their stature and reputation, not their current roster, most will make a lot of changes before the next tournament. For the teams that don't make it, chances are a lot will get dropped, those who remain wait till next year to apply again for the one slot available for promotion into the league

No not masters or anything like that, the next international events and qualifiers to those events are played exclusively by teams in franchising, other orgs will have to play third party tournaments or something until next year at least

They do but probably not in the way you mean. Applicants have to be well known and have a lot of money and facilities, basically they have to have proved themselves to have enough resources and commitment to run a successful team. But for those who don’t make franchising, the third party events will just be to pass time and perhaps make small amounts of money till they wait for the opportunity to apply again
