this is my second thread of doing these preds yesterday I got DRX vs FPX map preds completely right just first and second map vetos for DRX were swapped. For LOUD vs OpTic I didn't so well but that's too bad OpTic got destroyed on there best map so I don't think it would have mattered at all
OpTic vs DRX
OpTic ban Ascent - OpTic looked horrific on Ascent today vs LOUD, and I don't see it looking any better against another good Ascent team in DRX so I feel they have to ban the map if they want any chance at winning a bo5.
DRX ban - Pearl/Bind - I am 100% confident that DRX is going to ban one of these maps but I'm not sure which one as they're OpTics two best maps. DRX hasn't played either of these maps this tournament so it's tough to determine which one will be banned. With Bind OpTic have been notoriously great on it, and I think they still are amazing on the map even after losing to LOUD today I think that just came down to LOUD being the better team today. With Pearl it looks like now that OpTic lost on Bind today to be there best map They have beat LOUD 13-3 and XSET 13-8 who before they played OpTic looked like the best Pearl team itw.
OpTic pick Pearl/Bind - This completely depends on which map DRX ban If they ban Bind They will pick Pearl if they ban Pearl they will pick Bind simple as that. I think these are the only two maps where I can say I see OpTic winning comfortably but I could be very wrong as we haven't seen DRX play either map.
DRX pick Haven - Haven is still one of DRX best maps even though there attack was very shaky I think that it was just FPX implementing the viper very well on the defense. On the defense though they looked unstoppable their retakes looked perfect and they didn't allow FPX to take control of the map at all. OpTic looked good on the attack and horrible on the defense when they played XSET last with the phoenix comp so I think DRX is going to be able to exploit them especially because I think XSET just played a really bad defense almost always leaving B site with no one on it letting OpTic take space on the map easily which is what they specialize in.
OpTic pick Icebox - I think OpTic finally take out the Icebox as a trump card it's the only map they haven't played yet in the tournament so DRX wouldn't have time to prepare for the map so I'm hoping that OpTic do something crazy and look new and improved this time around on the map. DRX just stunned FPX on Icebox they didn't look crazy good but it definitely isn't a bad map for them they definitely had some cool ideas although it came a lot down to MaKo playing absolutely monstrous on the map.
DRX pick Breeze - I think DRX are still good on the map especially on the attack side but there defense is horrific, and hopefully they move off of the Viper on A setup with Jett playing alone on site because it just doesn't work and you aren't able to hold a main with just a Jett and a Viper otherwise no complaints about DRX on the map especially if you're playing OpTic who just seem to have no Idea what they're doing on the map at all even though they looked great the two events before this.
Fracture Remains - Both are good on the map so if it did go to a decider it should be a fun one but I think in this case DRX are a way better fracture team than OpTic the only team I would say is better is FPX so I can't really see a world where OpTic wins this map but I've seen crazier shit so ya never know.

DRX 3-1 OpTic
DRX VS LOUD FINAL 👀
