recently in the mixwell co-stream Fernando "FerMagoDiez" Diez(Leviatan CEO and founder) said that the salary of a proplayer in latam is around 1000$-3000$, opinions?

i think that 1k-3k would be the salary of T1 of latam with top latam teams like KRÜ,Lev,9z,inf,6k,fs and xolos but the T2 salary probably rounds lower than 1k

In Brazil it is between 300~5000 dollars. The only two BR orgs that are in Valorant that pay very well is FURIA and LOUD, the other tier 1 orgs pay in the average range of 1000~2500 dollars. The entry into the franchise the salaries of SA players will grow a lot but I think they won't even compare to the salaries of NA org players for a long time yet.

source? I'm Brazilian and I've never seen T1 players openly talk about salary, it seems to me that you brought this information out of nowhere lol

I only know the salary of the organizations that are in LoL like FURIA, LOUD, HL because it has been talked a lot by the players themselves and some podcast of the Brazilian e-sports scene comment on videos or during some lives and contractual issue of Riot itself (at least in cblol riot pays a salary for players in addition to the salary that the team pays). Something that is 100% concrete, LOUD and FURIA are the ones that pay the highest salaries and the best players earn more than 3000 dollars easily.

3000$ is not too good for Chilean players, but quite good for Argentina players

12k-36k in the US would mean you’re poor.

I didn’t say this to diminish anything, I was just giving a little prospective.

People think NA makes so much salary, but a big part of it is that it costs so much to live here.

you do not need to make 12-36k a month to live here. You can live a pretty good life style off 3-5k a month depending on where you live.

12-36k month
= 144/432k year
= 100k-250k inc tax
that's pretty high, that's like the salary of a software engineer pre-tax lmfao

3-5k month
= 36k-60k year
= 30k-45k inc tax
yeah that's unlivable esp. if u live in city

"livable" salary in my city is closer to no.1 but that's because i live in California aka hell

Everywhere isn’t Cali man don’t speak for everywhere. States in Central USA people can live on a 40-70k household. Cost of living is different in most states.
