something along the lines of 100t using vandals so they will die in 4 body shots anyways cuz vandal does 40*4=160 and even if you use heavy shields thats still 4 shots, you save more money
Help build economy but to do it on anti-ecos is crazy and 100T are phantom players
NRG created the strat in NA
basically if u can predict the other team would use vandal
then u die one shot in the head 160 damage
and 4 shots to the body
40 + 40 + 40 + 40 = 160 > 150
now if buy light armor
u still die one shot in the head ofc
and still 4 shots to the body
40 + 40 + 40 = 120
125 - 120 = 5 hp
120 + 40 = 160
the armor strat isn't the reason why they lost imo, same with NRG,
100T just outplayed fnatic overall
Yea, they kinda failed in there. This works if u r confident the enemy team will use vandal, since vandal one shot kills in the head.
But except derrek, the rest of the 100T were buying phantoms, and having light shields meant that even phantom would 1 tap in the head. It's a good strat to build economy, but the purpose of it fails when the other team uses phantom mostly
Dumb strat
Buying half against spectres during bonus and against 3 phantoms during full buy, u see what happened to them losing so many rounds in a row
On map 1 and 2 at least 3 were using phantoms and last map they used less phantoms cuz they got free vandals from killing Fnatic at bonus round 😂
Pepega strat imo. Only good against 5 vandals
TL has a pepega strat of forcing sheriffs some buying half shield too after losing pistol, increasing their chances of getting bonused by stingers.
Only FPX from EU has smart buys like 2 Vandel spectre ghosts after winning pistol

basically bcs vandal pickrate higher now it doesn't impactfull to them + 400 cred is huge money to save for util next round
It actually strange when they have money at last round but still using light shield.
In theory it works well against 5 vandals but these guys for some reason used it against bonus with spectres and against buy rounds with phantoms.
