9.5 best of the season (haven't watched made in abyss so idk if season 2 is better). Already one of my favs for the characters and constantly evolving plot and world building
with SoL elements inbetween. Also the animation is superb, it's A1 studios anyway.

Spy x Family and Kaguya-sama mangas were already pretty popular before the anime though. An original anime could never hit those kind of numbers in a first season

I agree. There are other good current romance anime like Sono Bisque and Horimiya, but Kaguya-sama is on a whole different level
