I feel like a lot of people on this site don't understand some of the most simple stuff about teams that get picked for franchising, so here's a summary on some of the things I see a lot of people not understanding:
- The organizations that get picked have almost nothing to do with performance. Don't be surprised when organizations like PRX, ACE, and XSET don't make the cut but ones that aren't even invested in Valorant do.
- Even if an organization doesn't make it, there is a high chance that the team will. FPX and PRX, if they don't make the league, will 100% get picked up by other orgs, whether that's as a package deal or sold one by one.
- Most organizations that make the league won't have anything close to their current roster. It'll be a clean slate for a lot of teams, which is why a team's current performance doesn't hold much weight.
- Stop taking every leak as 100% confirmed. We don't know what is set in stone and what isn't, not to mention that these reporters aren't always the most accurate. Too many people are overreacting about the leaks. Relax and wait for us to see the full picture, then argue all you want.
