Even if china has really really great aimers, you guys have to be honest here. IMO, there is no way they have a god IGL. Their CS scene is small, and their val scene is smaller. Sure, they probably wont do horrible, but most of the teams at EA LCQ are going to out-strat them. This edg fan copium is worse than SEN fans commenting 2-0 before they went 0-5 in challengers 2. If they win today, ill stfu, but for now, i genuinely think they will lose.

foreal tho if they lose im gonna rub it in your faces so hard i havent seen anyone other than me say theyll lose bruh
Come back to this. either to make fun of me or to get made fun of.

that’s because east Asia has a hella small scene in the first place bro. Korea literally had one decent team which was vision strikers/DRX before they switched to Val, which is why VS was so dominant back in the day. Most big esports in Asia are F2P, which CS wasn’t for a long time, because many people go to gaming cafe type places to play video games. For example, one reason LoL is so big in KR is because it’s free and therefore on every single gaming cafe PC. If they wanted to put CS on those pcs, either everyone that used that PC ever would have to share an account, or the person using it would have to already own a steam account with CS owned. Besides even if their CS scene is bigger than the rest of asia, there is 0 chance it’s Val scene is asias biggest considering Japan and APAC exist

Ofc they have a decent chance of winning against ONS. I’m just saying they won’t 2-0 them and clear every other team like so many others are.

My prediction is theyll start off with a bang vs ONS then lose to maru/reject and then lose in lowers

I mean it's also possible against Maru gaming, if that last run was fluke. I mean only if that last run was fluke bc maru we're popping off earlier. I think if Maru are not very good this tourney, then edg have a very good chance of getting to upper finals.

I mean
China did qualify for Majors in CSGO
And PRX, Zeta have already proven you dont need to be T1 in CS to be T1 in Valorant

Derke used to play T3 CS, now he's top 3 in valorant imo

Ok? How does that dispute anything I said? Chinese CS scene is the biggest scene in Asia. I was correcting him because he was comparing CN to other regions and then said that their CS CN was small.

their cs is not small, its pretty decent but they are just bad because its literally impossible for them to learn, most of them dont speak english and arent used to play cs like europeans and even south america does, they play csgo like drx play valorant, super flasy not neccesary executes but 0 deep understanding of fundamentals and unable to default, china has decent players tho, hope valve invests in china and gives them more slots for major to develop the region

I mean how big are they though, with a total population of 6 million there is no way it's bigger than the Chinese player population

I'm just trying to point out scene size isn't everything, the Indian population must be huge too but I don't really know what's going on over there but they're not doin too hard last I've seen them
