After many years of wanting a good computer so I could play whatever I wanted, I finally got one, but now I don't feel like playing anything. I am very busy during the week because of college and I look forward to the weekend to play something, but when the weekend comes I can't find anything that makes me want to play, the cycle is download a game + play it for 30 minutes and uninstall it because I find it boring. Even Valorant, Apex and LoL is already giving me boredom.

I had a similar problem just for last 2 months. Now I'm coming back from vacation and can't wait to play again. U can try to get complete pouse from gaming for 1-2 weeks and see if anything changed.

I tried to play Outer Wilds, the game is very interesting and I liked it better than Fallout, but this open world + RPG style does not appeal to me. I'm thinking of trying Persona 5

It's called growing up. I can't play video games nowadays because they piss me off and make me feel regret in terms of wasting my time on something that I would have to invest a shit ton of time to even git gud at. It's better to invest your time in something that's actually gonna get you money instead. Nowadays I only casually follow the competitive scenes.

Besides, modern AAA games suck a huge bag of dicks, I was excited for Battlefield 2042 but then they done fucked it up due to corporate short term vision. Same shit is going to happen to Grand Theft Auto VI, even though I nolifed MP mods of GTA San Andreas back in my day.

I already play with my friends but it gets too repetitive just playing Clash, Ranked Flex and Aram.

It's boring just to study and work, you can't miss the entertainment in order not to lose your sanity. But there is this very effect of the game industry today working like a fast-food chain - many of the same games just using different texture models and sounds.

Yeah, I get your point about the need to blow off steam after studying and work, but there are other avenues of entertainment outside of TV and computer screens. Problem is, the stuff that I find entertaining and is outside monitors costs money and I come from a poor background, so that's why I get strong feelings of regret when I try to recreate the good ole days of nolifing video games.

But I do think that you just simply reached an age where you started realising that there is a world outside video games, but the only way to access the proper entertainment is through money, that's why you are currently studying and working hard.

It has nothing to do with growing up. We are not talking about try harding, we talk about casually playing some game for fun. When it makes u happy play it if not take a pouse, do smh else and see if u want to come back to gaming

I understand your point and yes I have money to choose entertainment outside the PC, but in my city there are only parties that I don't like and there is a beach that I like but the beachfront is totally destroyed because of the mayor who doesn't care. So I can only go out sometimes to the cinema when there is a good movie.

sounds like you need to move to some place else as soon as you're done with your current school commitments :P
