in masters 1 they first faced Optic gaming who are from their own region and optic defeated them once in NA
they faced PRX who has unique playstyle even experienced teams like Optic,FNC,G2 cant defeat them
+it was their first lan
+in every stage we see rise of new teams (stage 1 guard,V1 stage 2 faze,NRG)

idk for me their performance after masters is also a part of why they get called fluke but yeah losing to optic and prx was expected and they didn't get owned like xset vs optic

if we compare stage 1 and 2
C9 fell off (maybe because of Xeta to T1)
v1 did not even qualify (who were 5-0 in same group with SEN,optic)

Not a fluke, they just didn't adapt fast enough to the meta changes for stage 2 which led them losing the first two games. Then they lost very closely (I mean literally a 2 round difference) to NRG and XSET who were in the lower finals of NA (XSET won the whole thing). So far in LCQ they've looked a lot more figured out, but have had some issues with overpeaking and throwing some rounds. If they polish that out, they are definitely a contender to win.
