How to increase fps when playing Valorant?

My fps always drop when I am playing this game.

Close every single tab you have, and programs including discord, steam , etc

Disable every single graph in video settings
Disable Xbox game bar
Disable Nvidia overlay if you have GeForce experience

If your PC shouldn't be dropping frames but it is, there's a high chance it's temperature related. Maybe it's overheating. Does it happen in other games too?

I run val with 100fps avg + discord and spotify sometimes with an athlon 3000g and 8gb

Right click on desktop and hide all icons. This boosted Minecraft fps atleast
