Acend champ was biggest success in history .. I really dont know whats wrong with these people calling it biggest fluke instead of success not even giving reason but vivo keyd loss ..
how tf losing your opening match in upper bracket makes your whole run fluke, especially when there was a bug use ..
imagine you're become champ of whole year by beating the biggest favs such teams like TL(dominated), Gambit and people calls it fluke .. they dominated ENVY(Optic) aswel ..

fun fact, these people now calls Optic is most consistent team only bcs winning prev masters that "the masters" they lost damn opening match fairly ..

its just how funny the life is, dominate the biggest tournament and become winner of whole year .. then bunch of vlr kids calls it fluke why the game played in unfair way and so called lose ..

Anyone who actually thinks they were a fluke team hadn't followed EMEA at all. They were pretty consistent top 3 EMEA team for most of 2021 and always had potential to be 1st in EMEA.

I'm a massive Acend hater but their victory at champs was certainly deserved. They were gifted a win because of Vivo Keyd's one mistake, but they were so obviously improved in the games against Envy and Liquid, and then they played a banger series against the defending international tournaments in order to be crowned the champs.

I was a really big Heretics fan during First Strike, and their loss to Acend followed by the roster breaking up, the team going on to never be good again, and the whole coaching controversy, makes me feel some serious animosity towards the organization
I also really like Gambit, so even though I don't have any hate towards any of the Acend players, the team are the Villains of EMEA to me

acend was good at 2021 and gambit but the game changes and now both of these teams couldn't go to masters. gambit and acend reaching finals and winning cups is not fluke but this year sadly they both played bad, thats all.

I mean, technically speaking, optic is the more consistent of the two. 1 trophy and qualifying for 4/5 international tournaments. Acend has 1 trophy and qualified for 2/5 international tournaments. Acend’s champions win was certainly a bigger win than optics, but optic is still the more consistent team. And Optic has also already qualified for champions whereas Acend has to win lcq.
