T1 future

I think T1 should seriously consider dropping their NA roster and picking up Vision Strikers (since they can't have two teams). I feel like not only are Vision Strikers a better team, they also have a 100% chance of always qualifying for Masters and Champions. Hell, T1 right now can't even make it to Challengers.

Thoughts? VS > T1?

Vision Strikers is an organisation although idk how long they have left on their contracts.

i think the players made the org and got a single sponsor (they used to have no sponsors), im sure these korean players would just walk out if they got an offer from the most legendary korean org

They just had roster changes, a loss was obvious and they were most probably ready to lose this VCT qualifier. They are preparing for the next qualifier and I'm pretty sure they'll do better and qualify. The team has a lot of potential with the stars they have on their team. They should drop the roster if they won't qualify for the next qualifier cause then it would just be a shame. -_-

i dont think this team has potential and NA is an oversaturated market, won't be too long til they realize there is not much space for so many tier1 orgs. hopefully they wont miss the opportunity seeing VS being signed by another korean giant

VS is an org and there is zero chance T1 can just drop the current roster and take VS lmao

I think it's a very small org the players made. They have one sponsor who started sponsoring them way after they made the team.

from watching their streams, they are living in a bootcamp provided by the org and have salary

also if the players created the org...why wont they keep going lol. They already have the biggest fan base in Korea valorant and VS is just gonna get bigger.

T1 cant just drop current roster and get VS roster cus of the player contract on both sides.

1) any korean in any esport would die to play under the T1 flag
2) they could let their contracts run out and then buyout VS

The next move T1 should make if they don't have any success with this roster is to drop DaZeD and find a new IGL or replacement. However, I do think this team has a lot of potential. They have a former cs star in Autimatic who has only been playing for a month or 2 I believe. Than they have Skadoodle, who has been a great Raze/Jett/Sova player and a great awper. They have Spyder who, again has been a great player and can play on the Omen, Jett, Raze and Phoenix. Finally they have curry who came from cs(I believe) and has been good on the sentinel role. Add all of that together with the fact that they look like 1 of the best teams on Icebox even though they just got their new coach as well as Autimatic and Curry just weeks and this team should be at least competing with tier 1 teams. I think with more time with their new coach, they could become much better at the other maps and could be a solid team.

Drop Dazed? The amount of improvement that has come out of T1 since Dazed joined the roster has been astronomical. I'd say he along with Skadoodle are the most valuable players on T1.

When you say "more time with their new coach they could become a better at the other maps" it shows that you don't really know what you are talking about... Their new coach is literally a sports psychologist... He doesn't know Valorant at a high level. He's not going to be providing the team with new strats or anything.

As much as I personally like dazed for his strategy stuff, his play style seems way too rigid for valorant. That might’ve worked in CS, but this style is really gonna cap the team’s potential. He’s also not the best fragger, and everyone needs to be able to make plays in this game. If T1 wanted to keep him, I could see him succeeding in a coaching role coming up with set plays, though I don’t think dazed wants to be a coach.

I mean I'm sure he knows Valorant at a pretty high level if T1 hired him... And yes the next move T1 has to make if they aren't successful is to drop DaZeD. DaZeD has been with T1 pretty much since they dropped Food and Crashies. It's kind of hard not to improve when all T1 had been doing was underperforming and since First Strike they have only regressed. Plus, their Icebox looked incredible against HSP with their new coach so. Also I think DaZeD is a very good IGL but his calling is too passive and this team needs to be more aggressive.
