I mean they beat PSG, Chelsea, ManCity and Liverpool. Had the toughtest road to final. 100% deserved.
Why do you asses the GK performance separately? Is he not part of the team? Thats like saying: "Ah the Warriors are overrated. Only Curry is godtier!"
And before you say something like, "They got lucky comebacks, etc". You should know how much mental strength it takes to comeback once. Let alone 3 times in a row. Why is the players' mental not considered when you talk about a team. Godtier mental. They refuse to give up even if they get outplayed. Thats a good fucking team imo.
If it wasn't for carvajal they wouldn't have won. If it wasn't for vinicius who scored they wouldn't have won. If it wasn't for valverde running this much they wouldn't have won. If it wasn't for the defence they wouldn't have won. It was a team effort and Real won, Liverpool only played their game first 40 mins then they crumbled. Benzema got praised for his performance in this season and his ability to control the team during the game with creating plays. The "he really didn't do much" is a shallow look at the game.

Also, Benzema scored 15 goals in 13 games against the top teams in the world. Just because he had a quiet final according to your standard doesn't mean you try to disregard his contribution. He helped out in defence (during freekicks and corners) and in midfield (when RM couldnt keep the ball). Without his 15 goals, they wont even be in the final.
I swear you kids got spoilt by Messi and Ronaldo. Thats not real football. Your star player doesnt score 2 goals every game. That is freak football. This is real football. You help your team when you can, however you can. Its a team game. There are 22 players on the field for a reason.
