FRANCHISE SOLUTION

make pro leagues for each region, pro leagues lead to masters
lets take emea pro league for example
there will be 16 teams
8 are partner orgs
8 come trough open qualifier
that way riot satisfies their fetish with franchising and we still have fluid competition where u dont have to be part of a shit org in order to make it big

I am calling it from now, competitive Valorant will die if Riot goes full franchise. Part of what gives soul to an esports is that everyone can make a team and qualify to big events if they are good enough. Franchising takes that away, completely kills the soul of competition by turning the scene from a place that values hard team work and coordonation to a place where the pro scene will be full of baiters that farm their stats into being noticed by an org. Full franchising is not the way and mark my words when i say that if riot goes trough with this Valorant will die.

riot already lost 100 million due to the lawsuit, they need money asap so they want franchising so bad

Teams won't have to pay to be a franchise. Riot will pay THEM to start a franchise partnership. Don't talk if you don't know the facts

oh yes, then it would make sense as to why riot is willing to pay ONLY 10 teams in the Americas to play in their league and have a permanent spot
no lawsuit = more teams getting paid

You just contradicted your own statement with another wild statement.

wild statements are fine from the general public as long as riot is willing to put up this type of bs system
im very sure you know that
1 we wont see any cinderella stories/rags to riches type of teams coming up if we have reserved spots
2 you will get to see few teams putting up shit results year after year but is still staying in the league after rebuilding every year, only because they are paid for the partnership

one thing to note, there are about 20 professional teams in NA which are competitve, and has the potential to be competitive
and a 10 team Americas system surely doesn't make justice of it, and small orgs might pull out of val if they get no chance to play in the circuit

EDIT: two more things to add
1 less spots at international tourneys, should be increased to 16 at masters and 24 at champions
2 less number of international tourneys taking place, so some smaller regions get lesser chance to play at the top level and gain exp, thereby improve

I never said I agreed with the franchise model. I personally think it's not great either, but you got the simple facts wrong about how the franchise will work and why they're going for one.

i was joking about the lawsuit part, obviously riot has a lot of money for their esports division

Agreed, 4 qualifier spots at the very modt, otherwise it is nothing like a franchising anymore.
75 percent invited
25 percent qualifier imo

,, otherwise it is nothing like a franchising anymore "

thats the whole point, it shouldnt be franchising at all, if it were up to me id make an open circuit like in cs, but its obvious that since riot want to franchise the scene they wont back off, and so im trying to offer a solution that fucks the scene in the ass as less as possible and at the same time meets riots demands

agreed, we def need a relegetion/promotion system
else t2 will die
also feel like riot shld seperate NA and SA and have seperate leagues in them

They have relegation and promotion system in EMEA VCT with the VRL system. If franchising would be similar to that... that's a massive W

12 Teams solution would be better. BTW we already have 12 teams in EMEA league instead of 8-10 as leak. This solution could maybe sent a team for MENA and increase arabic viewership.

I think that the ratio of franchised to non-franchised teams should be 1:2 so that way T2 is still alive and orgs will still be franchised.

This makes way too much sense. Riot will never implement anything similar to this.
