bro some of these SG/MY players have got to be braindead as fuck. I was playing on an alt account (imm1-d3) and I had this D2 KJ and Chamber play a 2v1 vs this Reyna, and neither of them shot her Leers. They legit just hid from them, and of course, they lost the 2v1. The Chamber also never breaks the Fade eyes or Prowlers for some reason, just runs and hides (and dies for it)

I asked them why they didn't shoot the Leers and they were fucking nonplussed as to why they should have, like bro???? I think the KJ even asked me why I want them to shoot "objects"?

SG/MY used to actually be a decent server, what the fuck happened. It's a trend I've been noticing recently but actually JP seems to be the best server in the APAC region rn (excluding Mumbai/OCE because i don't play on them)

Diamond 2 player doesn't even know why they should shoot a Reyna leer. Disgraceful honestly.

HK D3 player also told 2 of his teammates in a 3v3 to take TP on Bind and then he uses his ulti after they take the TP, and of course, we lose the round because this guy wasted his ulti trying to fake a site he already telegraphed was going to be a bluff.

What is this shit? I've not experienced EMEA ranked but there's no way even low diamond players do this shit there. Hell, I've not seen this consistent level of gameplay in KR either. What is going on?

unironically though. i havent played KR in a while but nothing has ever disappointed me to this extent in KR. JP used to, but now JP isn't actually that bad.

at least KR players generally have a sense of how to play out the fucking rounds lmfao. Yeah there are some no brain ranked demons but for the most part people know what to do because there are tons of KR youtube channels that give out Valorant guides and just like in league people just lap that shit up in their spare time.

I can vouch i legit saw a guy boost 2 people at the same time lmao and this Bangladeshi dude selling accounts in my game offering to boost my team mate to imm 3 and wanted to give me an discount since i am already diamond 3 LUL

I fuckin smurfed on the HK immo kids, but idk if it was cuz I was playing on actually playable ping (40~50 with no typical HK packet loss) or because HK was bad but like I said my KJ was immortal and had the stupidest plays ever. Fucker had 5 bullets in a 1v1 scenario and decided to just sit on the spike when the Jett came for the retake.

Also we had 2 players onsite with KJ and raze was holding the flank, containing the 2/3 enemy players, and this KJ wanted to fucking use ult for some reason even though we had numbers and positional AND gun advantage. Just fucking baffles me.

I have played almost my entire time playing VAL on sg and hk servers they are pretty decent and quite competitive at times and vice versa, and i also have encountered what you just stated as well but i think it depends on Time zone when the casual players and people who got off their jobs they are tired and want to hangout with their homies and play a couple ranked or two, i do not queue then which is quite helpful i have noticed it so a lil tip for anyone tryna queue on any server

players are toxic as fuck
are quite better than tokyo but makes their teammates worse by being toxic

Tokyo

wholesome people but doesn't comm much even with their own language
says nice almost after every round win, gives you a morale boost
are not braindead but does more questionable plays

Seoul > Tokyo > HK >>>> SG
SG is by far the worst ranked experience in my opinion, servers are consistently full of racist dumbasses who do the most questionable shit you will ever see. Only good part about SG servers is that the players actually comm, but most games you have to mute at least one person

HK is about on par with the US West servers and Texas, so pretty mediocre in general, and Japanese servers are super wholesome but are kind of quiet and have a lot of baiters

I'm curious too though, how is it on Sydney and Mumbai servers?

if you choose the peace route on mumbai servers, and probably shut up when the other party is being toxic, things seem to go smoothly. They have a special hatred for instalockers( previously it was just instalock duelists, now it's instalock duelists + initiators+ chamber). I have almost always tried to be peaceful, and things seem to work. Some people are perpetually braindead and/or don't have speakers who will do the most stupid plays even after you advise them not to.

overall it's a normal experience unless you kick the hornet's nest, if you do...they will insult your whole fucking ancestry just to spite you...but genrally the bm is just verbal, I haven't seen that many in game griefers, but that may just be my own experience.

I remember that one time I jokingly said my cat got in the way of my mouse that's why I whiffed then 2 of my teammates said I should eat my cat. SG servers are still more competitive than HK and Tokyo servers imo.

friends want to queue together but they live in sg/my/jp/vn. thought itd be fun to experience apac ranked and see the differences between NA and KR. so ive been playing on apac since official release, just not as much as KR, until now. I already hit imm in KR so i figured i'll play on APAC until i get imm there, which i did. now im just playing on it because idk.

JP players have some pretty slow adaptive reflexes (in regards to using util in the heat of the moment) but they've gotten better in quality compared to other APAC regions imo. also a lot better than what JP used to be too.
