if technology progresses very much, such that we have equal connection speeds throughout the world, will we get an option in valorant servers for worldwide in addition to local severs around the country, it would be cool if we can queue with teammates from other countries in a common worldwide ranking for radiant and immortals etc, (not enabling vpn and joining the respective server)

Nah. Too many language barriers. Also would be hard for the infrastructure to be In place everywhere
Would be cool though.

I have heard it is possible to do as you stated or close to, however, to do so costs a hella of money and is not very profitable. I might be wrong tho.

This idea seems kinda dumb imo. Language barriers and network speed is always going to be a factor. Even if technology improves to the point where everyone has 10 ping, the person that is closest to the server is always going to have a better connection, a thus VERY slightly better ability to aim.

I wouldn't mind disabling the region lock so that I can queue with my mates in eu or asia (in a lobby with mixed), but I would be opposed to being randomly queued into a game with 4 other guys from other regions.

Light literally takes 1/7th of a second or more than 142ms to travel around the globe. To add to that, light travels through optical fibres which further reduces its speed by a factor of around 1.3.

A global sub 70 ping server is impossible.
