CS vs Val

One Bo3 of each game

M3C vs NaVi
OpTic vs FaZe
FPX vs ENCE
Loud vs C9 CS
DRX vs G2 CS

What would happen? Would the Val teams make it closer in CS matches or would the CS teams make it closer in the Val matches?

Edit: each team is given 2 weeks to bootcamp the opposite game.

He said in the post of each game. So they'd both play in CS and then another game in Valorant

2-1s or 2-0s tho... like for example if M3C had to 2-1 in Val but NaVi 2-0 in CS, then NaVi wins the matchup

both 2-0 in their respective game, pointless to discuss this

See for me idk if thats true. I honestly think some of the CS teams could take a map on Val.

Some of the CS teams might be able to take a map off them if they get lucky & practise enough before, but there's no way any of the VAL teams win a map in CS

theyd need at least a week to get used to the game, then ill let you have that

otherwise its still 2-0s across the board

it would be the other way around bro. cs pros would have no idea what theyre doing and they will not be able to just rely on aim to win seeing as valorant pros have aim that is just as good. valorant pro teams are also made up of primarily cs players, so they would already have the knowledge of maps, guns, etc. and could possibly take a map off of a cs team. I still think it would be 2-0 in val for val teams and 2-0 in cs for cs teams tho.

"cs pros would have no idea what theyre doing and they will not be able to just rely on aim to win"

pls watch some pro CS I am begging you

i do watch pro cs bro. faze fan in both games. and my point still stands, the agents would be too complex to just hop on and start balling out against t1 pro teams in valorant

#26

the only complex agent is Sova...

im saying to have 5 people who have never played valorant competitively to pick up multiple characters and perfectly synergize with eachother on a pro level. its just not possible

Not immediately, no. But give them two weeks of bootcamp and they are fine. Especially since a lot of them have played VAL at some point or play it casually on the side every now and then, it's not like they have never touched the game.

And I mean the same can be said about util in CS. There are always new smokes, new executes etc being worked on. Going back to CS because you used to play it competitively like 2 or 3 years ago in Tier 2-3 is not as big of an advantage imo.

But overall I agree, teams would smash their opponents in their game like 98% of the time, so it's kinda pointless to even argue about it.

s1mple literally had no idea how to play Icebox vs Skye in a fuckin ranked game because he didn't know her abilities calm down CS pros are not gods. they will have good aim but shit strats because they have 0 util knowledge.

Never said they are gods, just said aside from Sova all of the abilities are easy to pick up, they are literally point & klick. One day per agent and you are set. Only other thing that is hard is flying with Raze satchels but that's more a gimmick than anything else at high level anyway.

he has a point. Valorant has a fuck ton of util that's CSGO doesn't have. If they havent seen or watched val before it would be pretty hard for them to use.

and equally hard to react to

they would literally have to rely on aim to win. CS game sense doesn't translate to valorant considering the utility dump on certain agents. Like a CS player would easily get fucked by a breach, fade, raze combo and probably wouldn't know where to break the sova darts.

I think val teams would do better in cs against cs teams than what cs teams would do against val teams in val, since most val players are ex-csgo pros, they know the maps, game mechanics, etc. So they might take a few rounds with some preparation. Most players from cs teams, however, have never played val at a top level, and some might not even play at all

this is a dumb post. Easily the teams playing their own game would just 2-0 them.

#17

they would win in their own game with a minor chance for a val team to fluke win 1 match, since they are coming from cs anyway

#19

but they were tier5 players mostly, they would never win a map against top5 team without any practice lol

this is a retarded question tbh, if they were to play tomorrow, val teams would 13-0 cs team in valorant and cs teams would 16-0 teams in cs, maybe they could get some rounds if they troll but if teams played all rounds full focus easy 26-0 and 32-0 no doubts, even if most valorant pros were ex cs players, these are top5 teams and without any practice as a team no chance you even get a round + most val pros were tier5 in cs too
it gets interesting tho if we give time for cs pros to learn valorant, they would probably beat these valorant teams if they had the same knowledge and experience in valorant, they are way more talented players, they are literally the elite among the elite

this is so dumb, each team would probably 2-0 in their respective games.. could argue maybe cs pros would have a slight advantage since a lot play val on the side but you could also argue some val pros would have an advantage since many played csgo before and were t2/t3. impossible to make an assumption imo

#38

every team 2-0s on their respective games, we would probably see a 13-0 from DRX or OpTic too

people saying "easily 2-0s in their respective game 🤓" are braindead
Most valorant pros already played csgo for a long time also do CS players
It definitly wouldnt be a easy match

cs tier 1 pro would destroy valorant pro pretty much easily especially NA pros or i say NA CS + EU tier 2+3 player in csgo straight away and in valorant if they give the time to practise scrims for atleast 2 week .

csgo tier 1 pro is on another level out of this world

kinda delusional for people think they can atleast get a map from them .

this is fact and harsh truth delusional valorant player need to know
