That's honestly a valid reason from Vanity. I have no doubts that Xeta's english is perfectly good (far far better than my Korean at least), but when you're stressed or under pressure, people tend to revert to their native tounge, so I imagine he suffered from that a bit. Same way that when someone's under pressure it becomes harder to think, communicate, and make sensible actions even if they're trying to speak in their main language. Also if your argument is that he shouldn't feel pressure, you've obviously not competed in high level competitions. None of this is Xeta's fault of course. I wish everyone involved the best, and I want more good NA teams, so let's see what happens!

Never heard of em, did they win a major? Or any decent tournament? Xeta’s a great player and I have a ton of respect for him but it’s obvious something wasn’t working out.

It’s nothing about xeta in particular. If, idfk, yay was playing in Korea (assume he speaks decent Korean), he’d probably have the same issue.

Holy fk you are dense

How can you not see through the most obvious scapegoat LMFAO

But you dont know what tyloo was so you prob dont know what chaos was so you have 0 idea of the team dynamic inside of c9

Btw, if yay spoke korean like xeta's english and played in korea, he would be in a drx jersey

sigh this is a big cap out lol, they're gonna do worse without xeta. That's my take without him the team balance is off.

Idk why people think I’m trying to hate on xeta here or be specifically against Koreans, that wasn’t the intention of my writing. For the record, I also think this was a bad trade overall I’m just saying Vanity’s point made sense.

Vanity gets an A+ for clarity and a B for the decision tbh

I just don't understand how is that a reason to get rid of a good player? Are Americans that bad at understanding slight accents?
