is your orginal reply making fun of it being close or saying it was close, bc im agreeing it was close? even if it was a 2-0 either team couldve won it
dont act like it wasnt close, both games couldve gone either way. guild was just fortunate enough to close them both out
true, think he uses his platform for the wrong this sometimes aswell
not a george fan but exactly how else is he supposed to get leaks if not from word of mouth? asking pros or people associated with them is really the only way to find out about roster moves, no?
he always turns up when needed, he goes crazy on OT. sometimes you need someone like Russ on your team to take the fall and play agents like this on certain maps, he does great on his role
really hoping KRU makes it out of this group aswell and we see a KRU vs Guild rematch... this series was so hype. both teams in top form
also zeek then going on to win champions, i guess they're good at producing talent lol. hope they can form a good roster for franchising
ofc yeah, but we're on about optic, not other na teams
optic is 0-7* in maps against emea teams (gambit 3-0, acend 2-0 and now guild 2-0)
theres a clip of him doing it in his ranked games so yeah its just habit, but they were just putting out speculations. not something you probably should say to 90k+ people but its not that deep imo, any sane person should know hes not cheating
kru had a bad time last masters, dont underestimate them. 5-0 against BR aswell
underperforming or other teams are getting better? lol
Alot of GC players could compete in t2-t1 environments with the right practice. so many regions have GC teams that just destroy anything in their path, I think they'd benefit from competing in main circuits and male dominated tournaments but of course the stability of an org and income is important aswell. high hopes for TL brazil at the GC lan !
some time in august, date mightve not been shared yet since they are probably deciding whether to try do LAN again this year maybe?
they'll probably just add the next team in circuit points that didnt make lcq or previous VRL winner for the 8th slot?
fucking anything is on the cards now, wtf
kru, xerxia, drx and fnc for emea ig
I think they're still more likely to get into NA franchising than EMEA, i mean, you even have teams like G2 trying to switch to NA for franchising (not sure if that's about franchising or wanting to be more NA based though). so many teams in NA and EMEA will be higher up on priority in franchising than them
nearly got me, good thing my pickems are copium
yeah i suppose. i think starxo and zeek were great and kinda came as a duo but now zeeks gone it kinda sucks. think theyre getting desperate now tbh
they sorta tried, theyve always posted behind the scenes and vlog sorta shit but theyve always been a small org and even after winning champs didnt get a huge amount of attention. doesnt help only having 2 core members left which doesnt make them incredibly recognisable either
deffo is a f/a i assume now and already knows acend's players well, which is probably a big reason for this trial
ye i saw the tweet now, thought this guy just made this thread for fun lol
id assume theyd try and take an igl (if thats still what theyre going for) from another team, problem is there isnt many established igls and if there are most of them are already on teams in the running for masters/champs. i do think theyll try poach someone though, whether it be from a team in the main vct circuit or vrl. or just grab someome from csgo lol
fk yeah, completely forgot ab that! definitely one of the best moves
yeah, according to his twitter 😮 (reply to frappzlul)
Shyy from LEV is 17 i think aswell, among the youngest
Youngest player at a val lan i think is NIP cauanzin (16) but youngest player this LAN will be alfajer i think, although there are like five 17 year olds which is crazy
m3c's visas are most likely from last year from attending masters 3 and champions, schengen area visas allow travel to the majority of eu countries
in only emea i think alfajer/derke -> fnatic, redgar -> gambit, jamppi -> liquid, also maybe ardiis -> fpx? not sure ab that one
m3c have their visas from last year and id imagine since guild is an eu org and fpx is a chinese (?) org it makes getting eu visas slightly harder for fpx
they played vs soniqs in knights with a sub instead of leaf, no? its not the worst trade ever imo, not the best but ofc a roster change mid stage is almost never gonna end well. just unfortunate ig
It's confirmed ange1 will be able to attend by Zyppan (https://imgur.com/w6Aitsj) so that article makes no sense lol, id assume the players know more than a reporter
this was already known info, their coach already said they'd signed 3 players in the event the same 3 members would not be able to attend Copenhagen. this doesn't mean they can't actually attend
source? last thing i heard is the only member who may not be able to make it is ange1, which still isnt confirmed as far as i know. ofc the ideal situation is to have every player from the team attend the event but sadly due to world circumstances it's near impossible, maybe its better for EMEA to send a full team but fpx deserve to atleast play 1 LAN, they've earnt it twice now.
still latam/br lcq, not sure how they play against br teams but this isnt their last chance to qual for masters. nip vs kru very likely
unless xset wins today, i believe they only have to win 1 match in group stage (9-10th place finish) to beat tgrd in circuit points, which i believe they can do so i put tgrd more likely to go to LCQ. but yeah, if xset bomb out of groups - tgrd will take the 2nd spot
id imagine bc those regions dont have vrls yet, only emea does
