emea is not the best region currently. Chinese teams r in a worse situation than emea was at Toronto and their best team ain't even here. Pacific is more competitive overall and emea is top heavy. are the top teams of emea better than Pacific? maybe. but pit global or team secret against koi or apeks ts/ge wins 10/10 times. also this event shouldn't invalidate prxs win in toronto

realistically it shouldn't be this time of year, right after masters 2 ends and right before split 2 starts. I think that they squish the schedule ABIT more, put ewc in August after split 2, so everyone who qualifies for split 2 makes champs, then do like an lcq where one more team can make it to champs? there's no time for another split too. what do you think?

while they both played duelist initially, meteors been playing at the top level since 2021 and foxy had to play other roles on drx which changed his playstyle too

that had nothing to do with toronto, Toronto's dates had been set since the start of the year while emea had issues which messed it up. only person you should be blaming is emea hosts
it was messed up tho, but ewc is mid regular season for china and some Pacific teams play their first game 3 days after they get home so it's also messed up for them

FNC has been nice on ascent with this new comp and it's one of prxs weaker maps so it's understandable, just like how prx is nice on sunset and is one of fncs weaker maps

i think FNC won split off of boasters calling. split isn't even in the map pool anymore so neither of them would be prepping them for stage 2. forsaken is not as good of an igl as boaster is, so boaster being able to call on a map both teams won't be particularly prepared for would be better as he would also have better ideas.

players like Derke and buzz aren't better than their replacements in kajaak and hyunmin, but they've just been playing longer so people glaze them more. they also don't have better aim, they just have better gamesense so they place themselves in situations where their more sprayey aim can succeed.

they have no obvious weak link(technically). boostio might not be in form but on this same roster a year ago he was popping off. asuna is kinda just flexing for cryo too. it's kinda like prx, where there's no really obvious weak link because every player contributes so much(boostio igl, asuna just making space for cryo to work which is how they win rounds sometimes). so they really just needa kick one player and fix their roles, like a consistent clutch player whos either really good on one role or has a larger agent pool.
honestly the only person I see 100t non Nepo kicking is asuna, eeiu is nice on scan, cryo single handedly winning them games, zander does aight on anchor and boostio is igl and he and zikz probably created a whole new system for 100t anyways.getting someone like bao who can flex or even victor who's more consistent and doesn't always do stupid shit. but honestly I think they should sign sonofcar, idk how old he is but I think he'd work well w 100t
