all the streamers yapping about how "neon is broken" and begging for her to be nerfed have got what they wanted. now neon is inexcusable to be played in ranked at all. while yes neon was above average, I don't think she was broken. while yes in radiant where there are people like temet who r one trick neon mains running around destroying people, there's a reason WHY they were doing well: because even before the buffet, they put in the work to learn the agent, so when she finally gets buffed, they get to have their time to shine. below "high elo" (immo and below) neon mains usually don't have insane impact. while yes getting aced on with a Bucky happens occasionally, YOU COULD DO THAT BEFORE THE BUFF.
I think that the only reason they made the neon changes was because all the pros and streamers were complaining, and they gave in. but as my goat tmv said: it brought agent diversity and mainly affected higher Elo players, and neons pickrate was still below viper and omen in proplay. there were 3 neon maps, 2 Jett maps and 2 raze maps, so much more balanced than before. while yes since theyre removing a Jett map and adding another neon/raze map, it would technically make sense, but wouldn't nerfing neon make it so razes dominance over the meta be as good as 2023?
Riot basically buffed neon just for champs and off-season. not even letting her simmer in vct for a while. they should have just removed the bullet accuracy and maybe nerfed her ults timer by a few seconds.
Lastly, neons ult. it's so bad now U might as well not have it. 10 seconds is horrendous, U might not even be able to clear a site with such a short time, and it being 8 ult orbs is even worse. "making it more intentional" is bullshit, it's so bad that waiting it out is so easy it's insane. raze is gonna be dominant asf now( she's my best agent but still) nerfing her to this extent is just bad for the game
the way the maps are designed make it so on some maps there's no optimal place to play on site(e.g pearl a site against a sova where one scan can see everyone, pearl b site where everyone sits in main and sprays, and abyss a site where without backside control U have to sit in main and pray). this has just made it so it's cancer for attackers on some maps where it is legit impossible to play offsite and U need to have a comp which can delay as long as possible.
another thing, is since I'm in SEA, not everyone speaks English. the ping change just made it so it's INCREDIBLY hard to comm to people info on where players are. just today i was in a game, 13 12 in ot, where my cypher was in a 1v1. the clove pinged the map on where the enemy was last seen but couldnt grab the words in English cos I think he was Thai. then the cypher didn't look at the map BCOS he's in a 1v1, and needs to focus on his crosshair, looking into heaven and getting shot from the back BCOS he didn't look at the map. it's things like these which make the ping changes horrid for people in regions like Europe and apac where with language barriers, makes it incredibly hard for us to convey information to each other.

firstly, meeting ceo doesnt mean shit and half of the orgs in pacific are also partnering with pre established teams. secondly, signing all the ignite players wld basically just be partnering with ignite which is significantly cheaper as well, not having to pay for the players salaries. moreover, partnering with dsg will also bring more marketing opportunities while signing players to a dedicated prx acad will be less efficient for prx which is a relatively small org. while yes it would be more beneficial to be able to have a whole dedicated acad team to bring players up under alecks' system, for smaller orgs it is less viable. lastly i also think they aint gonna sign a team so the current players dont feel like theyre at risk of being replaced, thus job is more secure
what worries me is how ALL the other franchised pacific teams have acad teams, which makes scrimming harder, and could make the competition harder in the future as well

it's BCOS as much as we wld rather have moose be dropped, at this point they might as well run the roster so they can see how it goes and make changes AFTER kickoff, and now it's impossible for moose to find a new team. c9 is also definitely cooked as they only have a month to scrim with the new guy
wasn't moose the one who wanted Rossy out? so c9 picked moose over Rossy, but now they're kicking moose out right before the season starts? don't get me wrong, I feel that Rossy shld have been picked over moose to begin with but this late into the off-season doesn't this screw him over?
no I just put flor as sub here BCOS we have clean roles for everyone else and technically as a GC player they're not considered to be associated with any region
munchkin is a flex by definition but he really only plays 3 agents, viper kayo and omen, which doesn't take away from how good he is but I'd say forsaken is the best flex. also, d4v41 best init totally unbiased
