honestly I'd rather see something on duelist and forsaken on flex because it's kinda of a waste to put forsaken on duelist when he could be idk fixing the role issues in the team

like someone else said, it's a zero sum game. even assuming jingg is ok on smokes and mf is ok on senti, forsaken on duelist means something is always on breach jail. something on duelist means forsaken is always on breach jail, but if forsaken plays senti does mindfreak plays breach? if d4v41 can't play tejo for shit, then if forsaken plays Tejo can d4v41 just perma breach?

all these problems, since U can't even complain about role flexibility amongst players anymore:

jinggg: duelist senti smokes+Tejo

you can't even blame alecks because the guy who was sup to be igling is not on duelist again, how's he gonna manage their micro when he only talks to them in timeouts? I agree sometimes the comps are overcooked but honestly what else can he do atp?

patmen isn't gonna fix anything except the igling. whoever he subs in for, it won't make a big difference except a loss in firepower (besides d4v41), because the roles are gonna be screwed if d4v41 is only on initiator(Tejo) and playing bad on it.

lowkey d4v41 has been underperforming heavily, but jinggg is taking most of the blame because he's stealing mfs role. but lowkey, mf is looking really good on senti, jinggg looks decent on smokes, and although something is on breach jail he also looks decent and his stuns have been hitting. and while forsaken looks great on his comfort role, d4v41 looks worse than ever despite being on his comfort role. but at the same time, what is alecks doing? I'm not tryna point fingers to push blame but some of these comps are not working bro, and running 0 double duelist when we have 3 duelists players is also crazy. maybe we tryna be up to date on the meta but if our Tejo is going double negative half the games I think there's an issue

it isn't a 2023 comp bro it was used up till when ascent got rotated out in 2024. it was literally the most prominent meta comp and almost every pro team has run it cz of how good it is. yeah the metas changing but I don't blame them for using what was once the most meta comp on the map to the point where it's been in use since 2021

   proceeds to be subbed out by zest for lockin

   proceeds to pop off in regular season, looking like one of the best duelists in the game. the only game they lost in groups was when they didn't play foxy

2. choked in a match against Prx, subbed out for zest, but no matter he'll play in Tokyo!
   plays 2/3 games in Tokyo, not to the same level as groups in Pacific but still quite good, perf badly against eg though
   subbed out for rest of Tokyo by zest

3. doesn't get to play in champs, DRX runs zest

4. drx perma put him on main roster for the season, runs duelist in off-season! surely this goes well ..

5. drx puts him on flex viper, which he plays alright in but they didn't make Madrid

6. flashback gets subbed out, roles swapped to senti and plays really well given the new role

7. flashback comes back, and he has to swap to ANOTHER weird flash init flex role he never played before

8. benched for athan(replaced by beyn later)

9. picked up by GENG, but huge shoes to fill (meteor)
   plays well in off-season besides a heavy astra choke game

10. played decent in kickoff, still on senti and gekko but better than being on flash init flex

11. although placing third, getting put onto 6th man once more although he's proven that he deserves his spot right now
