Riot Games, known for their hit game League of Legends and their kids game Valorant have been reportedly bought out by Valve for $5 billion dollars.

Valve has been a mainstay in the competitive FPS scene with CS:GO, especially with the upcoming update CS2.

With Valve’s takeover, their goal is to turn Valorant into a more CS2 game by reducing utility usage and increasing gunplay. Followed by the latest patch, Valve will eventually downgrade Valorant to a 30 year old engine, remove all abilities and make all agents either a Jett skin or Reyna skin.
