Yeah that match was crazy
I propose we replace Lebron with Snoop Dog bc he's faze clan so he knows gaming
They're honestly tied imo. That game was way too close.
Have the Guard ever lost twice to a team?? XSet: lost to in qualifiers, beat in groups. C9: lost to hard in groups, smashed in playoffs. Optic: lost to in playoffs, narrowly beat in the final. Their adaptability is off the charts man. I think if they get out in Masters, it'll be because they face two different strong teams (one of G2/Fnatic/FPX if they don't lose their entire roster)
Guard did 5 scrims a work day holy shit
Well it was that and then putting in the hours and working really fucking hard. I think more impressive than their skill is their rate of improvement. Compare Guard at the beginning of challengers getting demolished by XSet to beating Optic now and becoming the #1 NA seed at Masters.
Chronicle doesn't play sova that much anymore. Mostly brim + chamber
Zander is officially but I think there was a joke going around that wippie did a bunch of the mid rounding
God of war yes, but only the 2018 one
Yeah same tbh. I think they're a lot closer than people make it out to be.
It feels so weird to put G2 there cause I still think of them as a disjointed mess. Hard to understand how fast they changed it all around, but they're looking pretty good rn.
Mb then, I get everyone on here mixed up
Sry dude you made it too obvious, try again soon
Weren't you the guy shittalking guard 2 days ago lol
V1 are not selling, they looked like one of the best teams this qualifier, but had ONE bad game vs LG, then had to face one of the best teams in NA. Really excited to see them back for the next challengers.
Sinatraa best player NA...I want some of your crack pls
Honestly the fact that trembo seems serious makes him the best baiter around here
Genuinely I feel like they could all play any roles it's kind of amazing
Imma be real, I already respected tarik as a great streamer and professional competitor, but after this my respect for him as a person shot through the roof.
Rare to see a W take from a TSM fan but you're right
Yeah I bet they'll lose at least one initial match, but then crush them again in the elimination bracket
Sentinels: trash this year, V1: had a bad time, C9: Lost fair and square. I personally thought V1 and C9 would make it, but I'm also glad that Optic and Guard did it. V1 and C9 will be back better than before.
Sure any team that has one of the best coaches in NA, a group of mechanically insane extremely hardworking players, and an unbelievable capacity to learn new comps and strats
I can't WAIT to see them on lan
It seems super inconsistent over there ngl
He's a vlr user, it's not gonna happen
Alright but he's making up for it now, going absolutely wild
Overall I think C9 will win bc experience diff this time, but in the next challengers Guard will shit on them. I'd say Leaf is slightly better than Saya rn, Trent is better than Xeta, Xeppaa just beats JonahP off of firepower (look at his insane clutches vs XSet), Vanity is a worse fragger than Valyn but probably a better IGL bc experience, and Mitch > Net except on pistol rounds when Net's classic goes INSANE. I think as Guard as a whole get more experience, their nerves will be a lot less, Net will stop being quite as inconsistent, and they'll start smashing T1 even more. As much as I would love to see them on LAN in a few weeks, I don't think it's happening.
