In NA, only one match will determine what teams make playoffs. Everything else is set in stone. The winner of Guard vs NRG will go to playoffs. Good luck to both teams, hoping for an absolute banger of a match.

EG will wreck a top EMEA team

Mhm and I suppose Fokus would as well right Kristof

posted about 3 years ago

SEA would be Xerxia and PRX I'd think

Are almost out in groups. If you said this even last challengers, people would laugh their asses off.

Don't judge them until playoffs, they've burned fans before

This is unreal...

They're pretty damn good ngl. They did get 3-0'd by optic tho after they were able to ban Optic's two best maps.

posted about 3 years ago

I have no clue both are not doing as great as they were (C9 especially tho)

posted about 3 years ago

Zander and Avova are a bit cap tbh because Zander hasn't performed like he did in stage 1 and Avova just hasn't been good at all the past year with like two games as exceptions. I'd want SugarZero and Ange1.

Cap they’re not making it. The org isn’t big enough.

  1. Optic
  2. EG/100T
  3. Ghost
  4. XSET/TGRD
Honorable mention: C9 if they get their shit together.

Here me out on TGRD: their game was so close and if saya had been playing like he usually does I think TGRD wins 6/10 times.

I’m really happy with the crop of teams this tournament tho.

Sayaplayer pounded on lan idk what you’re trying to say

posted about 3 years ago

Id argue you don’t have enough data points for it to be statistically significant and even if you did, it would make sense for the team that didn’t lose yet in the tournament to have a greater chance of winning

You're def right about 100T, I just threw em in there. With EG, I was going extreme recency bias and saying since they beat Optic, I think they could beat Zeta, DRX, and PRX because Optic was better than any of them. Do I think they will beat any of them on LAN? Honestly no clue, but I figured I might as well put them there.

posted about 3 years ago

When Loud loses because there's another team as good, I will follow.

posted about 3 years ago

Rawkus is gonna drop 40 and they're still gonna lose

posted about 3 years ago

Yeah I bet they'll get picked up by new orgs if they get accepted into franchising.

I put fnatic in first what are you mad about

Luv you kristof

Just my take on who's looking the best at the moment. Obviously very biased because of last masters and this qualification, and anything can change very fast because Valorant is just like that at the moment.

  1. Fnatic
  2. Optic
  3. FPX
  4. Loud
  5. EG
  6. PRX
  7. Zeta
  8. 100T
  9. DRX
  10. Guild

Honorable mentions: XSET, Xerxia, M3C, Ghost, and TGRD.

Lmk what you guys think!

I don't think Sheydos would perform on agents like Jett and Chamber like he does on Sage, Skye, etc. I do agree deffo is probably the weakest link on the team, so naturally they should just get Derke to replace him. Ez switch totally gonna happen. More seriously tho, they do need someone on par with Yay/Derke/Aspas in order to really step it up a level.

I think If BIG wins their next match, M3C need to have beaten Liquid or they'll lose becasue by H2H they lost to BIG. If BBL beat Guild and BIG, then once again M3C need to beat Liquid. Basically unless BBL loses to Guild but beats BIG, M3C need to beat Liquid to qualify. This might be wrong tbh.

posted about 3 years ago

I don't think so? I'm honestly not sure who can/can't qualify in EMEA group B, but good luck to M3C to turn this around

It's not in map differential it's in head to head

Wait till EG beats Fnatic then we'll talk

posted about 3 years ago

I honestly really like Optic as a team, so on some level, I'm sad to see them lose, but I've been worried that NA had a bit of a gap between them and other teams. EG beating them means we got more potential great teams, which is so good for NA's chances internationally. Very excited for next masters!!

posted about 3 years ago

Ofc not but still they're looking good and I think they'll beat NRG. I hope they do at least. Although with the seeding it would be a bit rough if they play someone like Optic first thing.

posted about 3 years ago

There's been like 5 2v5s they've won

posted about 3 years ago

HOLY SHIT

posted about 3 years ago

Obviously we want full competitvness but I think the crowd would make up for it anyway, plus I doubt any FPX or someone can't make it this time.

posted about 3 years ago

No way you're gonna say it isn't exciting without EMEA. Every run from minor region teams had so much hype behind it both last tournament and at champs.
