I totally want Bang to stay, but idk if the folder leak was fake or not. Also the main reason they didn't go with yay is because yay didn't accept their offer or it wasn't as much money as C9. Lets be real, ANY team would take yay no matter the circumstances if he agreed to it.

I think Bang is probably gonna stay unless marved takes his spot (there was that 100T folder leak or whatev)

Alfa pounds tho, and you're basing trent's performance on two maps more than half a year ago

True but also Skrossi >> both, so why are we even arguing about this

Sheahhhh I know you're a baiter, but there's no reason to act dumb abt this, that just makes you look bad.

Yes....because....they both play chamber in the current meta. Thus that's what we should compare them on

Groundbreaking for sure

Soar was a great incubating ground for some of the best players this year....then it died :(

Dude you can't be real. If you're so focused on ACS, lets look at ACS consistency (which is a better measure of a player's value than looking at 4 maps which happened more than a year ago).
Yay's past 90 day stats:

  • 251.1 ACS on Chamber over 838 rounds
  • 246.0 ACS on Jett over 47 rounds
Of these rounds 393 were in Masters Copenhagen, and the remaining 492 were at Champions 2022 against the best teams internationally.

Tenz's past 90 days:

  • 229.6 ACS on Chamber over 208 rounds
All of which were in NA LCQ against objectively inferior teams compared to international competition.

Overall, Yay (not even including the tournament Optic flat out won earlier this year) is outperforming than Tenz in the metric you care about most while also facing much tougher competition. So yes, Yay is statistically better than Tenz.

posted about 2 years ago

Hoping this is a bait because

  1. That was a year ago
  2. He played 200 rounds, Yay played 492 at champs AND had a higher KD. Plus Yay played better than him in every event since.

Yay rn is the best player in the short history of valorant.

Will went stupid on LAN but Cryo's the second best chamber itw, it would be dumb to not pick him up.

posted about 2 years ago

Near the top isn't on top. If you're not in the top 3 NA, you're def not in top 3 world (which was your post). I'm not arguing that tenz is bad, I'm just saying he isn't the best ever.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah I mean he went STUPID on lan much more recently than Tenz did

posted about 2 years ago

You were in the womb when that event happened, no way you can use that as a judge for modern valorant.
Besides, is this crazy? https://www.vlr.gg/event/stats/1130/champions-tour-north-america-last-chance-qualifier

Tenz is good no doubt. But he's not as good as Yay/Cryo on chamber and Zekken/Saya on entry (and that's just in NA).

posted about 2 years ago

Tenz over Derke, Alfa, Chronicle, Zekken, Aspas, Buzz, is crazy

If it's like the replicants from blade runner, hell yeah. They're literally people there's no difference except sometimes their eyes go funky.

Who's the other one in your opinion? Saadhak?

posted about 2 years ago

Absolute cap, even loud respect him immensly. His midrounding is the best in the world even if his mechanics aren't all there.

oooo we get to see franchising rosters maybe?

posted about 2 years ago

Crashies is also a package deal with victor, and C9 doesn't need another entry (unless they keep him as 6th man)

posted about 2 years ago

Cryo and Yay are probably getting offers from every team in NA + most of EMEA + half of APAC rn. They're not strapped for options.

I care :)

Even with sick they will not be a strong competitor in a league of superteams. At least not without a very good coach (which rawkus is def not)

Some dude named austin tbagged idk

posted about 2 years ago

Yes but not a competitor with the best yk?

posted about 2 years ago

Net has always been insane. All the guard players are super underrated and we're gonna see most of them in franchising for sure.

posted about 2 years ago

Exactly, because franchising is condensing the number of spots drastically, every team will be a "superteam". That means players with great soft factors but lacking in firepower will be less considered in the future, enzo being one of them.

posted about 2 years ago

Nukkye isn't a better midrounder lmao, but he would bring insane firepower. Idk who'd play raze tho when you have Alfa, Derke, AND Nukkye on the team.

posted about 2 years ago

He was a beast in LCQ but that wasn't a repeatable and consistent performance for him. Just like Shao at copenhagen.

posted about 2 years ago

You think Saya and Trent will be passed over? No shot. Plus Valyn's one of the best free IGLs in NA rn bc of the IGL drout (only two I'd put above him rn are Dephh and FNS), and JonahP + Net are extremely good and flexible players. I see no world in which none of them get on a franchise team.

posted about 2 years ago

Unironically, I think the best flash player is Nismo. Just wait till we get to see him on the world stage.

posted about 2 years ago

Or Valyn? I think Valyn, while not quite as mechanically skilled as Zander, and not as experienced as Dephh or FNS, is a fantastic middleground who's able to fight on par with some top international competitiors while making pretty good calls.

posted about 2 years ago

Actually they're usually in places like Florida/Texas for the same reason, but yeah I agree. NYC is still way more than corporate playhouses though, and a really incredible and unique place on earth.

posted about 2 years ago

Agreed, Cryo or Yay are all they need. Maybe consider FNS over Stellar if they can get him. No hate to Stellar, but FNS has proven himself to be the best IGL worldwide time and time again.

posted about 2 years ago

NYC has corporate corruption yes, but also some of the most tight knit communities in the entire US. It's a place built on immigrants, and is definitely more than the corporate entities it houses. Also tbf, it doesn't have more corporate holdings than most other US cities, it just has the financial buildings.

Holy fuck Nats w Derke + Alfa would be RIDICULOUS. Suygetsu + Leo would also be phenomenal fits.

Over someone like Yay/Cryo? Nahhh

Who ops?

posted about 2 years ago

I would become a c9 fan if they did that

posted about 2 years ago

I think he's insane too but would I put him above Leo, Shao, Stax, Asuna, or Zekken?? Hell no, and there's like 10 other flex players who've proven themselves more on the international stage recently (I suppose Less could also be considered flex).
