I don't wanna hear anyone calling this guy arrogant again. He might put on that act, but as this post match interview shows, he takes responsibility when it matters. I've rarely see a pro player display more humility and emotional intelligence after losing. This isn't just "depresso mode", this is a genuine human truthfully explaining his failures. Really great to see, and you guys need to learn how to look through a bm act.

The only guy who played awfully was leaf. Everyone else didn’t do nearly as bad. It really was just EG are too good, and all their players are popping off. I have some faith in C9 to get back into it.

EG def deserve the win and huge props to them. It was awesome to see them win. That being said, I highly doubt the EG we'll see at Tokyo can perform half as well without Demon1, and they'll likely flunk out in the groups (think Fnatic without Derke). Which sucks for the Americas region in general. Now that there's no chance C9 and NRG can both make it, Americas will probably only have two noteworthy teams at Masters as opposed to the three they could've had. The best timeline is if EG without Demon1 are somehow still great in Tokyo, but I'd say that's highly unlikely.

If they lose this, NA is lowkey fucked in Tokyo I think. NRG can win through the lower bracket probably, but it'll be a lot harder. I can also see a world where furia somehow squeak win against Loud and then we get NRG vs Loud in the lower bracket.
