cs never got big in Korea at all due to Valve's system and the internet cafe system clashing and dota got taken over by League and koreans were more interested in Starcraft before League.

stax vs PRX in 2022. This one was vital for the win

posted 6 months ago

they like primmie so its up to them but for someone like me who has been watching udotan since '22, i hope GE wins that.

posted 6 months ago

god knows why he got such hate boner towards DRX and T1. A specimen, that guy.

posted 6 months ago

he said david talked shit in a ranked game all the way back in 2022 champs when PRX was in istanbul playing EMEA server. Yes, 3 years ago.

posted 6 months ago

tbh even for neutrals. banger games incoming.

posted 6 months ago

the korean vct channel makes funny thumbnails for all the highlights and when GENG got the better of PRX, they added meteor's face onto the meteor falling on PRX's dinosaur

posted 6 months ago

done like 3-4 clutches in the first half. what a player.

posted 6 months ago

dambi has really good jett and raze but someone only watched him since ascension. #9 explains it well. he has a distinct role in his team.

posted 6 months ago

i get that izu wants to play duelist and autumn likes to cook but i genuinely want to see him on perma scan int. just me tho.

posted 6 months ago

t3xture infected everyone with his 4k curse

posted 6 months ago

both NS and PRX has got their strats set in stone.

posted 6 months ago

we are witnessing some crazy level of valorant today

posted 6 months ago

this team's potential is gigantic. lfg.

posted 6 months ago

tbh PRX and RRQ looking really solid too so you really need to add them up to the list. RRQ can make some nasty upsets if they want to.

posted 6 months ago

strats involve mid-rounding too, at least to a certain extent so having 1 dedicated IGL is always better than having 2 people calling as it is quite prone to overcooking if both players are trying to cook at the same time

posted 6 months ago

innit. either way, drx looking fresh.

posted 6 months ago

2020 had no international tournaments

2021 they met GMB and got knocked out (the entire region had a way different approach in certain maps like bind and viper), struggled with 6-men roster in Champs since Lakia's injury did not heal.

what more do you want "bro"

edit: you are finally done with dumbass replies. thank the lord for that.

posted 6 months ago

the korean caster said that mako might be igling today. but he also noted that he needs to ask termi or the player to be 100% accurate.

posted 6 months ago

nah you are somewhat right.

posted 6 months ago

yea but i guess it could still work if they are just aware of the hole left by agent comps

posted 6 months ago

2022 lost against Optic in lowers, Zeta (should have won this), lost to Optic again in lower final in Champs

2023 the roster wasnt even the best korean roster with a rebuild. it was more of a long term rebuild with foxy and beyn.

2024 had multiple changes due to flashback's personal issues + stax wanting to leave.

you dont know shit and just hopped on "termi is bad" train. If you didnt watch DRX/VS properly, just don't start arguing with ignorant points.

posted 6 months ago

stax "can" igl + he was confident with it too since VS and zest was 2nd call to help stax in certain stages of 2022

static in terms of meta = clear that you didn't watch them long enough. they did suffer during the neon era because buzz wasn't as good as he is now on neon

had good fundamentals after multiple players left.

Idk why you are still arguing when other pro players and coaches are saying he is a good coach. But you do you gamergirl.

posted 6 months ago

love to see them breaking the box and trying new shit.

posted 6 months ago

not a good coach

came up with crazy amount of set plays, strats, and ideas that other teams use, constant top 6 in internationals, regarded as a solid coach among other coaches but ok.
and this isn't the "best" iteration of DRX. They've got the most potential for sure but best potential ≠ best roster.

posted 6 months ago

termi is not a fraud kyro. YOU are a fraud.

posted 6 months ago

would have been super interesting if both deal went through

posted 6 months ago

primmie can't speak english though, or at least not good enough to be able to freely comm. But kushy tho, was probably an option for prx for sure.

posted 6 months ago

create a league separated from Pacific, like China

sorry to pop your bubble but its not as easy as it sounds.

posted 6 months ago

simply can't agree with this one froggy

posted 6 months ago

yea well i wasnt really agreeing with "english issue". however, learning a language and being good enough to be speaking that lingo in game is 2 different thing. Estrella just needs to step up. I mean look at him in map 2 and 3. Good igling and solid shots. just needs to find consistency in that.

  • he WILL perform better in full kr team, not might.
posted 6 months ago

xcc's korean wasn't good enough to be fully communicating in korean. It was more like him agreeing to T1 speaking korean in their voice comms, and xcc spoke basic korean. T1 and xcc in particular looked lost in most games in Korean. Plus they had stax too. Its not the same situation with RRQ and estrella. + estrella can speak some english now afaik

posted 6 months ago

estrella on a full korean team would do well but if im being honest, he's been with RRQ for quite some time now and he really needs to step up.

posted 6 months ago

RRQ academy lowkey solid asf. splash and woody got some good potential fr

posted 6 months ago

how are they so disjointed. 16 first kills in abyss, fumbles the OT. hopefully they get their shit tgt for the next map though, i got rrq doing pretty well in kick off.
*someone tell estrella that he can flash when he is playing kay/o pls. decent game went into garbage bin with that last play.

posted 6 months ago

tf are we catching strays for

posted 6 months ago

calling timeout in like 12-5 or something was pure comedy

posted 6 months ago

some talon fans are getting hate boner towards drx for absolutely no reason but its fun to see. TBH we never know what will happen in these double elim brackets but some of them just be putting drx in bottom 4 out of spite lmao

posted 6 months ago

ZETA's draw in kick-off is pretty unlucky. Facing the loser of T1 and PRX is a tough draw in the losers bracket. I really hope ZETA do well man, i really like CLZ in fennel

posted 6 months ago

he also ignored a fist bump from termi and i have never seen termi get annoyed at someone before.

posted 6 months ago

and for some reason he beefs with DRX a lot like bro who cares man 😭😭😭 He even said that DRX got rid of Buzz and stax and sort of mocked them but both wanted to leave. Doing podcast but not even doing basic research is concerning.

posted 6 months ago

won't say they are "too overrated". NS has got insane potential.

posted 6 months ago

I still don't like the "RedForce" thing. Could not bring myself to liking that since LCK

posted 6 months ago

😭😭😭

posted 6 months ago

Well that settles it, Jake and Leo Faria just made the dumbest decision they could have made. The only reasonable argument we could have made was that SOOP splashed the cash for the streaming rights.
The region merge may have some reasons like what others have said but the streaming stuff is just blatantly outrageous.

I really hoped they change shit in 2025 (#10), but it looks like they aren't going to change anything.

posted 6 months ago

you are a precious member of vlr, you are not pathetic.

posted 6 months ago

ah yea i get what you mean. Stage 1 certainly lacks the importance, especially when stage 2 gives you tickets to ascension.

posted 6 months ago

It is still worth for fans in other regions though, since it is getting more competitive with more orgs entering or players getting better. Plus tier 2 has some insane team comps.
