TSM, can't really think of another team that suffered so many unlucky moments like that. Way too many close games. They could've made playoffs, but now the seasons over. Next team I thought of would be G2 but G2 lost to London United so nah (OG LDN UNT)

   In reality, this teams experience, and even a slight loss shouldn't affect the fact that this team is still good.

2. (+3) Evil Geniuses
   After beating Optic and beating Luminosity the week before, Evil Geniuses look like an extremely strong team, and they have control of the group. Even though they are a talented team, playoffs may hit them differently.

3. (-1) 100 Thieves
   Probably the strongest team in Group A whenever TSM is not in their way. They just obliterated NRG and they beat XSET a week ago 2-0 in convincing fashion. 100 Thieves beat the best in the group, and look to do that in the playoffs. Chemistry is only getting better.

4. (-1) XSET
   Losing to 100 Thieves did seem out of the ordinary, but they still have a chance at the first seed. They have an insane fragger in Cryo and they can make a deep run in playoffs.

5. (-1) Ghost Gaming
   Their wins have only came against the weaker teams of their group, and their matches have been pretty close against them, making them lower in my power rankings. They can go somewhere in playoffs.

6. (+1) Luminosity Free Agents
   Their win against Cloud 9 solidifies them as a good team in their group, but they don't necessarily match up to the top dogs in their group.

7. (+3) The Guard
   Their two losses in the beginning have been put away, and now their only focus is against NRG. They've been looking better recently, with a 2-0 vs TSM and a 1-2 vs XSET.

8. (+3) Faze Clan
   They honestly aren't that great of a team, but they've taken care of their scraps against Cloud 9 and Sentinels. However, they almost lost their 2-0 match against Sentinels with a 13-11 and 15-13 result from the series. They won't look so great against the better teams of NA.

9. (-1) NRG
   NRG just looks worse and worse every week after their impressive first match against TSM. They had a -9 diff. against XSET, -15 against Ghost and -13 against 100 Thieves. They have one last chance to erase their issues for a spot at LCQ and Playoffs against The Guard.

10. (-1) TSM
    TSM's season is over, but they have showed promising outcomes over the course of the group stage. However, promising wasn't so promising when they lost 4 thrifties against Ghost and couldn't close out games with a good lead. TSM looks to get some change and coins against XSET next week.

11. (-5) Cloud 9
    Their new member Curry from T1 made the team look like a dangerous team, but after the one win against Optic, Cloud 9 has fallen into the dust and won't make much of the remaining season. Losing against FaZe was a disappointment, and losing against Luminosity was a tragedy for the stage. They look to get 5 extra circuit points against Sentinels for LCQ.

12. (-) Sentinels
    Hey, they looked fine against FaZe Clan, but clearly it isn't enough. They also look to get 5 extra circuit points for LCQ against Cloud 9.

The ties would be between EG and Faze, and LG and OpTic.
If EG beats Faze, they will get the first seed.
If EG loses, there will be a three way tie between Faze, eg, and (LG/optic), but it gets really confusing
I believe Faze can get the second seed if they 2-0 and LG loses 0-2, which is the only way. They can get the third seed, which is basically every other outcome if they win unless they 2-1 combined with LG 1-2 or they 2-1 and EG gets a tiebreaker with map difference over a three way tie

100 Thieves can make playoffs with a win vs either NRG or Ghost or a loss by TSM
The Guard can make playoffs with a win vs NRG (tiebreaker)
NRG can make playoffs with a win over The Guard or both The Guard and 100 Thieves
TSM can make playoffs with a win over XSET, a 100T loss against NRG and Ghost, and an NRG win over The Guard

Ghost and XSET have already made playoffs.

Evil Geniuses can make playoffs with a win or a C9 or FaZe loss
OpTic Gaming can make playoffs with a win but they've basically secured it with tiebreakers
LG can make playoffs with a win over C9 or Optic or a FaZe loss
FaZe can make playoffs with a win or a loss by C9
C9 can make playoffs with a double win and a loss by FaZe or loss by Luminosity vs Optic and loss vs C9 (C9 v LG week 4)

TSM has the slightest and I say extremely slightest chance of making playoffs, and it requires a 4 way tie unless VCT's tiebreakers make weird sense for 3 way tiebreakers
First,
100T 2-3 (lose to NRG and GHST)
TGRD 2-3 (beat NRG)
NRG 2-3 (beat 100T and lose to TGRD)
TSM 2-3 (beat XSET)

Second, map wins are crucial
TGRD will have to make it with at least 6 wins
TSM needs 100T to get 0-2ed twice
They also need NRG to get 0-2ed by TGRD and 2-0 100T
TSM has to 2-0 Xset because if they 2-1, supposed 2-3 100T would make playoffs

Finally, with TSM supposedly happily having these results although it probably won't happen, they need to have better map differential since VCT doesn't use head to head overall through 3 way ties, looking at those APAC standings for info.

And that's how TSM makes playoffs. Way too many things to happen for them to make it.
These standings were fully based off of Map difference, if three or four way ties are based off of head to head to head record, please tell me, but based off my experience with APAC results just this past month, these are the chances.

1. OpTic Gaming
   Dominant and FNS. Although they faced Sentinels with two subs, they've defeated teams with ease other than the one Icebox map against C9. 5-0 looks to be incoming as well as another trip to Masters, this time in Copenhagen.

2. 100 Thieves
   Other than losing to TSM for the fourth time this 2022 season, 100 Thieves played incredibly well against the favorites coming in before that match and 2-0ed them in 13-4 and 13-9 performances.

3. XSET
   They lost to 100 Thieves, but they did look great in 4-0 games against NRG and Ghost which are very good teams in their groups. Better map picks should allow them to do well in the playoffs and hopefully not finish 4th.

4. Ghost Gaming
   They managed in back-to-back wins to beat The Guard and NRG, two teams that were favored coming in before the match, and they beat them easily. Ghost has a good future coming into these playoffs.

5. Evil Geniuses
   They aren't the best team in the group, but they have shown solid performances against LG and SEN. Their match against C9 did have Xeta on it, so they look to end well with matches against OpTic and FaZe

6. Cloud 9
   Although they lost to FaZe today in a 2-0 that no one saw coming, expect some role changes with Curry and Vanity that will make them start winning. They have their remaining matches against LG and SEN.

7. Luminosity.
   Their schedule only gets harder from here, and they beat the easy teams in FaZe and SEN. They just lost to EG, and they will have OpTic in the last week. Plus, expect them to have tough competition in the playoffs.

8. NRG
   They've dropped a lot in this week's rankings, but if they can get back together and work out their comps, they can look deadly like their first match against TSM.

9. TSM
   They slightly edge The Guard over their remaining schedule contrary to their match against the Guard, ending in 0-2. TSM looked nice against 100 Thieves and hopes to upset Ghost in next week's matchup

10. The Guard
    Their last matchups are against XSET and NRG, which do seem tough on paper, but if The Guard can continue dominating like dinosaurs, they can definitely topple some of the teams listed above.

11. FaZe Clan
    Their win against Cloud 9 gives them a chance in playoffs for that 4th or possibly 3rd seed. Their remaining matches are against Sentinels and EG, so they can make a run at it.

12. Sentinels
    Let's all agree that Sentinels are bad, their roles are messed up, but they still have a chance. Copium?
