If you like world building, I recommend the FromSoftware souls games. Elden Ring would be the best first option out of all of them, but they can be pretty light in the actual narrative, aside from maybe Sekiro.

I'm on Chapter 2 right now and I'm enjoying it. It's basically a boss rush mode with small areas to explore in between. Game feel and layout is very akin to the God of War reboot games. The bosses are fucking insane and really fun to fight. Level design is better than I thought it would be.

I do kind of agree, but mostly because of the production. Did feel like a step down compared to LA. The matches themselves were relatively even though.

I think, overall, I do prefer the double map bans simply because it forces the highest level teams to have extremely wide and flexible map pools, while my proposed option doesn't.

What is your proposed solution for coming from the upper bracket then? There HAS to be some kind of advantage for the team that hasn't lost a series in the playoffs. And don't say bracket reset. It'd be absurd in tac shooters considering how long matches can last. This isn't the FGC or Rocket League.

Edit: You could do single elimination playoffs, but I think people vastly prefer the double elimination bracket.

Edit: Also SEN only had to travel once to Korea. All of their other matches were on home ground.
