It's not in favor of edg. Eg has the edge and also the prep time. Not gonna be easy match up.
I'll be honest I think eg is favor in this match up. Why ? Eg has like a week worth of prep for edg. They also placed higher and it's not like they're mechanically bad or tactically bad either. The only way edg has of beating them is literally all 5 players on form and also playing their best game. It's not an easy match up for edg at all imo. Even scrimbux favor eg.
Ppl think game is about strats when u just shoot heads and they die. If they kill an important agent you're essentially fked and have to improvised or shoot heads back.

They whip the other team into submission. It doesn't start immediately they force you into duels and break your mental slowly. Just teasing you till you can't take it anymore. Every duel you take you slowly start losing, every round you start losing you doubt your ability to aim duel them. Finally you break down crying as you realized they're just better aimers mechanically and you forget how to play valorant.
I realized it when I watch EDG played them only KK was not deter and the only one shooting back. They broke nobody so much he started doing W gaming against Giants next series.

Both teams actually have complete opposite playstyle of valorant lol.
They have controlled chaos. They love to break the game down to aim duels cause they have some if the most mechanically talented aimers on the team.
They have such confidence in their aim and play and it looks like they're having fun.
I just think prx playstyle is super fun. They are really pushing the limits of how the game should be play.
