Why don't they make it so you pick up the flashes from where they fall like gekko, so deep info flashes are hard and risky to retrieve and pop flashes on exec can be picked up and used to pop flash again on post plant? This is 95% a joke but lowkey kinda makes sense to have deep info flashes be more punishable and give less info but popping a flash around a corner does not feel as wasteful. Anyway, they should hire me for game balance I'd save the game

Taiwanese players can declare themselves as a cn player or apac player, so they won’t count as an import in either but they can’t switch from one league to the other without counting as an import. It’s the same thing as players with dual residency like Russ

With this format we will not be seeing the 2 best teams from every region at Madrid. It makes 0 sense why they wouldn’t have playoffs with double elim as it only adds 2/3 more series and ensures the highest level of competition. An example is with the predicted groups based on the picture showing the format having the 2 favourites to represent China at Madrid (EDG and JDG) in groups C and B respectively. If both teams top seed their groups only 1 of them can make Madrid? Such a stupid decision that ultimately decreases the level of play at Madrid and makes seeding hold far more weight at kickoff than it should.

How are single elim playoffs fair? What if the 2 best teams are in groups b and c, and like this could just be fixed if top 4 was double elim which only adds 2 series? Doesn’t make sense to me

I think that good showings hold far more weight than bad showings as teams showing they can play well in offseason events such as sen affirms all the good qualities and shows extra potential whereas a team underperforming such as 100t isn’t impacting my opinion of their max potential it just shows they may need a bit more time than other squads

I think that you could argue for roster changes but man did they treat zest rough last season, with him never getting a proper chance and being forced to only play the hard games. Hope he’s treated right wherever he ends up

As an unbiased outsider to these debates I believe it is time to come to a conclusion.

NRG have a crazy crazy roster on paper that if maximum potential is reached could beat Fnatic, but at the same time if they don’t gel well or the igling isn’t great they’d get destroyed as Fnatic can match their firepower and simply function better as a team unit.

NRG reaching their max potential is almost impossible and them not working at all is almost impossible so I think it is impossible to determine their strength until we see them play.

So I don’t think it’s wrong to imagine one team being better than the other but calling the other team trash to better your point is foolish as Fnatic has proven they’re insane and the team to beat and NRG are the scariest new roster on paper
