You can’t tell me an OCE superteam would be worse than DFM or GE at least

BLG JIAYOU

What if OCE got a franchising slot

posted 9 months ago

maybe Meiy may be surrounded by good teammates now

posted 9 months ago

he was so good this year that now the best region is trying to poach him

posted 9 months ago

I get tvirusluke over spring maybe ig but no yuicaw in the Taiwan team is insane, imo the best player in that region whilst also being extremely flexible

What we need is for a team to pick up Kr1stal as caller, with 4 aimers. Kr1stal the ascension god can give us the best chance at ascending yet, seeing how he got scarz a 2nd with 2 bums on that team and got XLG into partnership against a stacked rare atom roster. Kr1stal calling with 4 of our best and we have a chance next year

With how leo and aspas play it'll be alfa doing all the entrying on senti lmao

yeah so long story short Lee Sang-hyeok, born May 7, 1996, better known as Faker, is a South Korean professional League of Legends player for T1. He gained prominence after joining SK Telecom T1 (now T1) in 2013, where he has since played as the team's mid-laner. Throughout his career, he has secured a record of 10 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) titles, two Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) titles, and a record four World Championship titles. Faker is widely regarded as the greatest League of Legends player in history and has drawn comparison analogizing him to basketball player, Michael Jordan for his esports success.

Originally from Gangseo District, Seoul, Faker was signed by SKT in 2013, and quickly established himself as one of the league's top players. In his debut year, he achieved both an LCK title and a World Championship victory with SKT. From 2014 to 2017, Faker added five more LCK titles to his name, along with two MSI titles in 2016 and 2017, and two additional World Championships in 2015 and 2016. During this time, he also emerged victorious in the All-Star Paris 2014 and the IEM World Championship in 2016. Between 2019 and 2022, Faker secured four more LCK titles, becoming the first player to reach a total of 10. He also represented the South Korean national team at the 2018 Asian Games, earning a silver medal, and the 2022 Asian Games, earning a gold.

Faker's individual achievements include accolades such as a World Championship Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, an MSI MVP award, two LCK season MVP awards, an LCK Finals MVP award, an LCK Player of the Year award, an LCK Mid Laner of the Year award, and two LCK First All-Pro Team designations. He holds several LCK records, including being the first player to reach 1,000, 2,000, and 3,000 kills, the first to have earned 5,000 assists, the first to have played 900 games, and the first to have won 600 games in the LCK. Faker also holds the record for the most kills in World Championship matches and was the first player to surpass 100 World Championship wins. His accomplishments have earned him recognition as the Best Esports Athlete at The Game Awards in 2017 and 2023, PC Player of the Year at the Esports Awards in 2023, and he was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Asia Entertainment & Sports in 2019. Additionally, he was inducted into the ESL Hall of Fame in the same year. He was also chosen as the inaugural inductee for the LoL Esports Hall of Legends, being officially announced by Riot Games in May 2024.

Faker is one of the most marketed esports figures, appearing in numerous commercials and talk shows. In 2020, he became a part-owner and executive of T1 Entertainment & Sports. His annual salary, as of 2020, was estimated by the Olympics to be nearly US$5 million.[1]

Imo Korea produce the best sentinels.
Flashback
K1ng
Meteor
Foxy9 - his best role
BuZz - has looked really good when he plays
Freeing
Margaret - kinda inconsistent but still incredible

posted 9 months ago

I’m in talks with meteor and it’s likely he’s joining my premier team so who knows what’ll happen with GenG

posted 9 months ago

His performance at champs was the best it’s been since they won the titles last year and yk recency bias and stuff

posted 9 months ago

What if DRX are going international and bringing some OCE talent in. Here is my roster
FETA (duelist)
Ikana (init)
Dragon (flex)
Mako (controller)
Flashback (senti/viper)
Are we making it to playoffs with this roster?

with how the bleed situation panned out they were 1 match off

What if wolves closed 10-6 breeze against edg at kickoff

posted 10 months ago

I think xccurate senti with xffero flex makes more sense but still this team is really good

Also had me there 5/8

in a region all about fighting a player that is known for trading will fail? dunno about this one

posted 10 months ago

not just the valorant community, this is the norm on the internet in general which is a problem

no i dont think so

knock on the door of every house itw and be like hey are you rocketbullet is another possible method

posted 10 months ago

TLN roster makes too much sense no way they do it

posted 10 months ago

yeah China has become the place for OCE players to go but I worry now that other regions players will start taking the Chinese import slots, with Maple being the only aussie at ascension and pl1xx leaving wolves

posted 10 months ago

Why do I see hate threads for the region with the worst funding, org backing, location, scrim quality, no representation and hardly any opportunities after they lost to a team with 2 imports from a region that has 2 slots in tier 1. Like I really just don't get shitting on minor regions when we've shown that there is clearly lots of talent here but we are disadvantaged in every way.

Very scary series obviously and it makes sense for riddle to be favourites but I actually really like our chances, obviously would be better if kiss plays but either way. I think our biggest weakness was exposed yesterday and that is our mental as a new, inexperienced team. If we play our game and play with nothing to lose I really think we can beat riddle

posted 10 months ago

Gotta keep the site up one way or another

posted 10 months ago

I feel like GC is getting harder to defend when top teams are getting mopped by English or Spanish

posted 10 months ago

they trialled a few oce players but idk how those went

posted 10 months ago

Trades kinda fell apart in that second half and it just felt like their fundamentals dropped when they swapped sides but that is probably an experience diff and nerve diff, was fs map pick so they 100% can run this back and reverse sweep if they drop the nerves and play with confidence

posted 10 months ago

Having east asia with CN/KR/JP as one league and then a SEA league which also includes an OCE team with all the extra slots would probably be the best

posted 10 months ago

it would be better but I doubt it'll happen now. Maybe in 2027 if the game grows enough and they reevaluate the league and deem it worth it then maybe but 5 regions is an awkward number

posted 10 months ago

Yeah, life is an interesting player cause he can solo win so many rounds but simultaneously solo lose them as well. I do think life is a good player but this playstyle identity leads to crazy inconsistency and makes you wonder if he's the best fit for an FPX team looking for titles, which needs crazy consistency

Just woke up and checked the score and I’m glad 2G won. With saadhak leaving the region and Sacy retiring, with all the existing Brazilian teams having no clue what they’re doing, it’s nice to see a new fresh team in. It also balances the NA/SA split in Americas. It also feels good to see a region that is losing good practice and opportunities thrive despite the heavy favouring NA teams get in terms of org backing and scrim quality. Sucks for M80 as an org cause they’ve tried really hard both years but GG and congratulations 2G!

posted 10 months ago

first map JFT just kept hitting B every round and kept winning even if RLF had 5 there somehow which was not great
second map was some hero plays for RLF but JFT seemed to just have a better read on the game and were outaiming them as well
JFT looked solid but RLF look like they'll lose to RNT tmr

posted 10 months ago

unfortunately all JFT games are gonna be blowouts which might be a bit boring to watch

didnt give them enough rounds to hit 46 but its all good
