The top 4 was shaping up to be amazing, VIT were in form, EDG weren’t looking great but were still good, G2 was frying, I was genuinely excited to watch all of these teams play each other. Then everyone just forgot how to play, don’t get me wrong T1 played some great valorant here and there but you can’t tell me the other teams (aside from G2) didn’t look pretty poor compared to their earlier games. If G2 didn’t choke on split and won 3-1 crushing the underdog story while also denying us that excellent map 5, it genuinely could’ve been a completely dogshit tournament. Hoping Toronto is better

I don't understand why people think trent will be terrible after the tejo nerf. Don't get me wrong, i would love to see G2 relegated just as much as the next guy, and i do think they will likely perform a bit worse without tejo, especially if they play like they did during the start of their lower bracket run. But it feels like people have forgotten about his sova, he was seen as NA'S second last hope (after PROD) when he was on the guard. He was and is pure magic, sure he'll never quite be on the level of SiufatBB but if he puts in the work i genuinely believe he can come close.
