hes also a good counter to cypher? also deadlock's kit isn't bad it's just niche, that's why she can be played at high level games because they actually know what to do with her.
considering mid is probably just as integral as on split, it makes sense
okay first, cypher's given freedom is pretty overrated at the highest level of play, with some teams not even placing a flank trip until they plan to exec a site if at all, meaning that when defaulting cypher and vyse pretty much do the same job. As for defense, however, vyse allows for more stall with the vines and wall, while cypher is more centered around passive info and allowing for stacks on sites until the trips are broken.
second, yeah kj is probably bad for the map, but saying deadlock is trash is simply false. The grav net is top 5 abilities in the game, and in higher level games getting value from her util is more common than getting value from cypher as most people have already figured out counters.
thats where the cooking comes in with lineups and shit, but her dogs and ult just clear sova with the way the map is structured
fade hard clears sova and id say viper is more integral than cypher because you could really run other sentis and be fine
