What a series
Notice how its only crashies and boaster farming him?
Clearly theyre both spoiled rich kids that have never taken the bus in their life, so Vakk has no idea how to deal with them
Yea wish it was 4pm CET (2 hours earlier)
ianto's dogs looking different this year
Just a lot of duelists who are good on yoru
And then seeing him do well in scrims means others are more likely to use him
Hes strong enough that is "viable" for him to become meta - he provides more util than raze and jett (but doesnt entry nearly as well imo)
idk I always found it weird how much glaze xeus was getting while people actively called out that lewn was an unknown pickup
given how similarly they both preformed last year (minus lewns team struggling a bit more) I had high hopes for him
not this high though
Lmao no
While we dont have any info about Soulcas afaik (though given the timing I think its reasonable to think its the same situation), kaajak was not sold to Fnatic - his contract just ran out... ofc he'd switch
.... And idk what you smoked but them doing a proper trial process is a good thing? Its an asenscion roster - they have to start later (remember most t2 players are already in talks with t1 orgs before ascension even starts) and cant compete for players (since theyre the worst option with a 1 year contract).
And lastly Its also not like they just settled with him yesterday either; batujnax has been with the roster for a while now
Great first showing from both teams tbh
Rookies on m8 preformed, and apeks got to show that even without firepower they can still look competitive
the start had me REALLY worried
but very nice recovery
Well for them to be a true dark horse they gotta lower the expectations first; way too many people had them as their dark hose
After today I dont think anyone expects them to make it to an international, so now they can step up
What a showing by the t2 guys
Cant wait for Chiwa to be back cause they looking good
its not: 2023 only had 6pm (5pm for playoffs)
2024 had 5pm for split 1 and 6pm for split 2
you can change your timezone to berlin in the settings of vlr if you wanna check
Same time as "always" (we've had a couple different times, but this is the main one for 2023 and 2024)
6pm germany (CEST)
Back to back ace is something
Deqadz op, pls nerf
F
100%, plus theyre sharing skin sales (according to cgn discord)
Wait I thought this rumor was a troll based on Webber/Neil (cant remember who x.x) praising last years cgn roster so much (due to how they did in scrims)
this is amazing
Im a bit confused why people are upset at it being h2h
This is how we always do it in valorant for 2 way ties
I cant think of a single tourney where we had maps or round diff as the first tiebreaker
That misses the whole problem. Yes there are teams that are better at making new strats for/against meta shifts, but I doubt anyone (who isnt just a braindead fan looking for an excuse to cope) would actually complain about innovation being rewarded.
The concern is that it has the potential to invalidate work teams have already done. Creating an even playing field on some (importantly not all!) maps this close to the start of the season is plain uncompetitive, since its now based on luck if the maps you spent most time on need to be overhauled.
Obviously gonna depend on how strong he is in pro play if its an actual issue/a major issue, but still weird af for riot to do this... again.
Castle crashers/Battleblock theater are classics (and nice if theres variance in the skill level of your group since its co-op)
Smash like games if peeps are fine with being pummeled by the one person who actually knows how to play 1v1s
Duck game is mindless fun
Invisigun is fun if you need something more slow paced (but still competitive) a couple hours in
Crawl is a pretty unique couch co-op game
Musashi is based on them needing an igl and one of the players (dont have twitter anymore so cant check who it was) uploading a frag montage where they forgot to censor his name in scrims (they did play together for team dach so not 100% confirmed, but it seemed plausible)
also zescht and kapio talked about it like it was a fact.... surely those 2 wouldnt troll riiiiight (they would)
also if you want a source for the teams part, heres the vcl dach post for the teams https://x.com/valleague_dach/status/1870122797692768324
is rocket league really that closed off? Its been a while since Ive paid attention to it, but back during the start of covid it seemed like a relatively easy league to enter (rule and player attitude wise)
The other games youve named (excluding dota since idk anything about their scene) have either a ruleset or just a culture that makes it incredible hard to get into a tier where you get paid above or equal to your countries minimum wage
Oh, apologies, it looks like VLR must have bugged out when you were posting this and displayed the wrong message.
The message it ended up sending started with the question, "why dont we get interviews of other players ?". It continued with an example of what kind of players "it" would like to see interviews from: "like the ppl who come from T2", and then got upset about Flor getting "special treatment".
Wild stuff, I know.
I'll make sure to respond to what you wanted to say, rather than what VLR decided to post, in the future, to avoid situations like this^^
shes not getting special treatment lmao, you just dont care to read the other articles
we've been eating good when it comes to player interview articles in the past couple months
weve had 2 last month for instance
1 in September (might be more, dont remember)
and a TON from Seulgi in August (live interview series if you remember that)
well I think the last 4 rounds of the game make it easy to decide who was better this map
Just add em to polaris tbh, they look like they could use a couple more countries
(for emea t2)
last year id say kamyk?
#5 already named my 2 top ones that are still in t2 this year (wackie and sayonara)
so to throw a bit of a curveball:
musashi is probably up there
one of the best t2 flex with acend for years and now a flex igl for (based on "rumors") SGE
calling seems pretty good and (as you saw in spikenations as the most recent example) pure mechanics are still top notch
he has considerable hype around him in the turkish scene
but yea only 1 split in t2 so far (and ngl I watched over half of the s2g games split 2 and didnt recognize his name initially, so very forgettable debut)
an absolute ranked demon with (presumably) a ton of firepower, so exactly what apeks need rn
cant really think of anyone id prefer to fill out the flex role on the team ngl
What a game
if this isnt the perfect example for Riot as to why we need more open circuits then idk
this is the moderation
cant save that chat, so better just burn it all down
nah mine hasnt either (and im on the english stream)
might be location based... or just pure rng
cant complain on winning this one
Sliggy will be uploading vods of it (and im sure there will be others vod reviewing/uploading vods too), so should be accessible on youtube
turn down the quality and it should get better?
it has over 3 MB/s Download when its on 1080p for me, so I assume its just overwhelming your connection
(also like so many websites, if you wanna get rid of the chat its also a bit better)
While I havent heard anything that would suggest lime is still playing with apeks (tbf its gone very quiet in general) lime is NOT confirmed for the mouz roster.
As the coach empathizes every second interview during "der Pokal", this is a temporary roster. The rules meant they needed to stick with the same roster for the playoffs, but we dont know if they are going to be making any changes and who is getting signed
