So playing in an international tourney against a team from another region helps, but scrimming against a team from another region doesn't? Also I'm not for riot taking away Chinese slots(they wont ever do that anyways because of tencent)

KC, Gen G, Sen who would you rate below EDG?
cant blame that one on other people its unfortunate but it is what happened
apac has had multiple podium finishes in international tourneys nice bait. Also Americas>FNC>APAC>EU
Hard agree youre telling me these teams have had "coaches" analyzing top-tier tournaments for years without implementing standards on their team? if a team gets stomped on the international stage, whats the point if the players don't learn anything and the support staff don't fix their mistakes?
even tho the game didnt release officially till now they've had teams like edg, TOE, and totoro playing for years(2020/2021) longer than some orgs that are T1 in other regions
They’ve had teams and org support since 2020 as well as tournaments and scrimming with kr/jp/sea for years how much longer do we have to wait for the region to develop?
EDIT: my point is to stop with the "they just need more time to get better" counterpoint. If time was all it takes for teams to develop then orgs like V1 would be world champs by now(the teams that started as soon as val was released) I don't think taking away all their spots is something that should be done but just saying they need more time is dumb and not a solution to the complaint ppl have competitively watching these teams lose
Also the argument that teams HAVE to play in these tourneys as the only way to gain experience is false. These teams need better analysts and coaches to watch these matches and implement the things they see. China had years to watch vct don't use that as a one size fits all arguments winner
No way mods deleted your kang “this is my place as a pissy boy” kang post
We have the same picks lol
Sometimes if they’re in opposite brackets yea but with how Swiss stage is set up I’m not sure for this masters.
My goat meteor is washed 😔 lost his first game only 26-1 now can’t believe he lost
Wait what where did they post this. Sad if true
So all first seeds win basically
wheres south america/brazil in this > chain
havent been relevent since 2021 let them have their moment lol

They lost after tho
and gen g won apac after he leaves lmao I cant
Oh man those were the days… peak viewer experience for Kr fans. The old esc/on sla2ers logo looked better too imo.
lock in everyone qualified and the format was meh. First few games of the season no way to accurately predict how well teams would work with. AT least with this, the stronger teams in each region make it.
or struggling because of no yoman igling?
never got the tex hype and never believed in him. Ever since his Guard debut where he messes up the easy 1v1 eco round
I’ve been telling ppl PRX got lucky with the draw lowkey think drx could’ve pulled off a win against PRX if they faced in the semis
Let’s go that’s what I’m talking about
Uncommon performance from forsaken
Monyet disasterclass
they looked like they had no strats lmao what
China has been playing since 2020. Abo started in EDG 2020, and Chinese teams scrim with apac teams as well. They have insane mechanics hopefully strategy wise they catch up soon.
flanked all the way
imagine going the full 3 maps and losing a double overtime having to play another 3 map series... shit format
funny how new year new teams but orgs are still in the same power ranking order
some delusional fans were blaming jemkins for losing the first map saying he's too inconsistent lmaoo I'm not going to bother finding it but ppl def called him out
Their previous rounds got read hard, and gen g adapted to their rotates. See it, especially on the second last round texture pushed all the way out to catch the rotate. When they lost that round its like they just said fuck it no more slow play lets just rush B.
GGs rrq close match, also don't drop Jemkin no matter what the fans say he popped off.
this isnt the argument you think it is lmao....middle east...EMEA.... europe MIDDLE EAST Africa...check valorant regions lol
Let's not be revionsist that wasn't the narrative heading into the season. Casters were a little delusional 6 out of 7 of them voted for RRQ to win the first matchup, and only Paperthin voted for Gen G to win. Then Gen G won lol. Now they flipped, with 5 votes for Gen G to win this match.
deja vu
lets go stew/yoman!
