The amount of threads ive seen like "OMG Im worried (SEA, NA, etc) will do bad at international lans!"
All anyone has seen is regional matches, so there is no real "power level" of teams internationally unless theyve played recently at iceland and havent had any roster changes (So a team like optic/prx/loud are measurable to international teams, and fnatic/guild/etc are not as clearly measurable because their current iteration has not played internationally)
Also, stop underestimating the teams that havent made LAN before. "Im worried they wont do well at LAN! They just dont seem ready!" dude they are a pro team if they make copenhagen it means they deserved to make copenhagen because they beat the other teams to get there. Its not like a team cant counter strat a team from another region or something, they do that in their region and the only change would be reviewing a team from a different region instead of a team from your region. Sure, FNATIC might look fantastic. But PRX, DRX, LOUD, and OPTIC are still the best of their regions and there are new teams coming up to lan as well.

tl;dr stop saying that a region will do bad at masters because there are new good teams in the region

I would say I would but ascent and icebox sometimes ruin it for me. I really like all maps except for those.

Ascent is such a shitty map
It’s super boring, repetitive, and stale
The only fun thing in ascent is defending/retaking A site. Otherwise it’s ass. B rarely gets hit, most pushes are mid, A or a split. Mid is annoying to take unless you have an astra or maybe brim. Main site entrances are very cramped and one dimensional, allowing chambers and other agents to make stupid plays on defense and have no punishment (ex: chamber literally being like 10 feet into b main holding a corner with an op is unpunishable) I could go on
