i really don’t know, i think the major reason why t1 beat edg is because the latter looked incredibly undisciplined and t1 could easily take advantage of how weak edg looked
in not sure g2 will make the same mistakes given how notoriously disciplined they are in their gameplay AND the fact they’ve got an insane read on the meta; they probably have the best tejo breach in the world. having two maps bans in their favor also doesn’t help t1 much
suddenly me pointing out someone else being whiny about people shitting on emea is me being a hypocrite lol

you’re humble NOW because you’ve started losing. i can recall you specifically saying “emea crushed americas in 2024” and that americas in an “overrated region” before the event even started; you had crazy overconfidence in your region and especially vitality and said them and liquid clear everyone else
you are no better than any regions fans; in fact i’d consider you worse because i constantly see you whining about other regions’ fans whenever they shit talk yours. it’s embarrassing.
i also still have edg coming back from lowers to win so i really don’t care who between the 3 remaining teams wins

also it doesn’t matter how new teams are, everyone gets a fresh start every year. geng was a new team and they beat heretics in a grand final. t1 is a brand new team (who swapped out players MID EVENT) and they knocked out vitality, the “super team”

are we watching the same game? g2 has perfected the tejo breach comp and looks to be the only team to use it to its fullest. it’s clear they’re comfortable on it because they use it on every map.
i’m also not saying that g2 without tejo breach are complete ass, they’d still be one of if not the best team in americas and the world even without it. however, this meta is what makes them not just good, but dominant — once the meta shifts, that dominance will be tested and it’s likely they won’t have the same level of performance we’re seeing now
the team is world class, the current meta is what makes them the best in the world. same happened with optic and chamber, edg and neon, etcetera. different teams shine in different metas
eras are not possible in this game
the best we’ve had is fnatic and it barely lasted a year. valorant is too volatile of a game due to new agents and constant meta shifts that it’s difficult for any team to be able to consistently be at the top
g2, as good as they are, are very VERY reliant on the current meta. once it inevitably shifts their adaptability will be tested and it’s very likely that they won’t show the same level of dominance we see now
as if emea fans do not do the exact same thing to a much bigger extent

to be honest, g2 play virtually the same exact comp on every map. the only map in which they have some variance is fracture and i think they're pretty keen on never playing that map ever
they're the best at this composition and they play it on every map so it makes sense for them to have a good map pool
americas, pacific, every region in the world does not claim you
they can play this comp on whatever map they want outside maybe a few changes to the controller and they will win
everyone currently with 100% pickems have g2 winning today
they also have edg winning vs vit in lower finals and beating g2 in grands
