What would be the most unlikely teams qualifying from lcq taht if they happened all at the same time would possibly cause vlr simply to have the biggest headache

It will be much harder this time though as some teams that are basically already tier 1 level teams are in ascension such as apeks and acend

I mean fantuc have only not made top 8 on 2 occasions once when they didn’t qualify Berlin 2021 and the 2nd time was Reykjavik 2022 and zeta did knock them out before they reached top 8 and zeta are the only team to do that so I agree japan clears

In the current meta they wouldn’t even get 13 rounds across 2 maps without chamber yay is just a great duelist that’s it not the best ir even in the conversation alongside derke and aspas and the 3 optic core members got defeated by prx without something and just torn apart by fnatic on the map they are supposed to be the best in the world on
The only person in the current meta that can keep up with fnatic is marved
Crashies once again struggled against Leo just like when he faced him last year when Leo was on guild
Victor struggled against chronicle again just like Berlin and was putting up much lower numbers despite him playing duelist both maps
Fns is on par with boaster in terms of igling but his fragging power is less and even more inconsisten than boaster
Like I said yay without chamber can’t keep up with derke consistently maybe every once in awhile but not all the time
And marved is only equal to alfajer at most and he is the best player in the current meta from that optic team

Clearly he was a na spy planted in guild by optic so they didn’t have to face guild again so they had a chance to win champions genuinely I feel like guild was just a bad matchup for optic.
as guilds players all made random ridiculous plays that simply put couldn’t be anti strated because half the stuff they came up with on the spot.
It’s why nrg struggled so much against fnatic as sure they have set plays but all their players can also make random insane plays which makes nrg’s anti strating almost pointless.
They also struggled against gambit again another team with players that just make random insane plays

Major means an international trophy
An international trophy means a trophy won in a tournament that involves multiple different regions
Multiple different regions means not just na that’s what sentinels won only masters Reykjavik is a major not a regional trophy
Meaning sentinels have only won 1 major not 2
I know this may be hard to understand for you but there has only been 8 majors so far in valorant history
Loud
Optic
Fpx
Sentinels
Gambit
Acend
They have all won 1 while the other 2 have been won by fnatic
Sentinels have not won 2 just accept that fnatic were the 1st to do it

Cauazin was also the 3rd lowest rated in the whole tournament too and I think tuyz wasn’t that far ahead of cauazin either.
I think it was the inexperience that caused this don’t forget in São Paulo they had the crowd on their side and I think that helped the 2 calm down and not get too nervous but in tokyo where the crowd is cheering for everyone and they are no longer in the country where they have lived their whole lives the nerves just caused them to mentally collapse I think

posted about 2 years ago

You keep saying they came in as 3rd seed but why does that matter fnatic came in as 2nd seed, loud who came in as 1st seed genuinely looked worse than navi, drx, ase, t1 and fut they looked like the worst team at the tournament
Nrg barely beat liquid and were lucky to not get 2-0ed as liquid choked haven so they are about the same level
Eg definitely did choke it doesn’t matter what seed they came in or what peoples expectations were at the start as people were expecting eg to take at least a map in the grand final and they should of taken a map but they choked on bind they had a 10-4 lead and were on 12 for multiple rounds and they still got taken to ot where they lost
The fact is eg choked they should’ve been able to win bind they even had a comp prepared to try and anti strat fnatic on bind keeping bind hidden for soo long

posted about 2 years ago

No the only players who I think might of been able to compete with fnatic is sinatraa and tenz if he actually focused fully on esports and not on streaming since streaming was what led him to fall behind all the other top class duelists since he wasn’t practising as hard and didn’t try to adapt and learn how to play other agents such as raze or even neon which would make sure even if jett was nerfed again he would still be able to compete at the top level as the only things he could play was jett and a broken chamber

posted about 2 years ago

Well your opponents are never gonna expect you to have more than 2 ops. How do you possibly predict 3 ops on the last round with the score at 12-11 and you only need to win 1 round to win the map how are you possibly supposed to predict fnatic running a 3 op strategy it’s the perfect 1 trick round as your opponents will never expect it plus in the future all your opponents will always be worried that you might use that strategy again so it creates an advantage for future games as well

In the 1st tournament they dropped 2 maps
In the 2nd tournament they dropped 1 map
That is frightening consistency

Let’s put it this way the lowest the best eu team has finished in any tournament is 4th and that’s happened 2 times the second lowest the best finishing eu team has come is 2nd and that’s happened 1 time and the other 5 tournaments eu came 1st and in coppenhagen a eu team also happened to finish 4th while at the 1st champs 2 eu teams were in the final the top eu team on average has finished higher than the top na team on average

So you will flame Japanese people for having a fnatic flair despite it being pretty well known and even a dfm member outright saying that most if not all Japanese valorant fans are fnatic fans or just other countries. because if you say that then I can’t take what you are saying even a single bit serious and even with that the argument is stupid

It doesn’t matter who gets the extra slot a team that can’t even win lcq of their region when the top 3 teams aren’t in it aren’t going to go far in champions anyway unless they pull off a Cinderella run which is unlikely with teams like fnatic, prx and eg maybe even navi, drx, loud and nrg if they figure out their issues even edg are getting better also if liquid decide they want to be consistent as well the it doesn’t matter who gets the extra slot the chances of the 5th best team in a region doing well is very little

posted about 2 years ago

Tbf how do we know derke isn’t the best jett in the world he didn’t play it once this tournament and still dominated the final on raze if his raze is this good at the moment how good is his jett

posted about 2 years ago

Loud need to replace tuyz yes he’s a great harbor but when harbor goes out the meta like it is starting to do what then he’s too inconsistent on the other controller agents he needs more experience basically on other agents other than harbor.
Navi need to stop letting angel go crazy with comps and stop letting him switch everyone’s roles around.
Drx need to figure out whether they are gonna fully go all in on foxy9 or have zest come in full time again and wait a year or 2 to bring foxy9 in when’s he’s older and more experienced.
Prx obviously will get something back.
Eg need to replace com in my opinion as he’s their weak link plus their players need to get more experience and they don’t have to replace com it might just be a problem with experience and as he goes to more international tournaments he will get better so they just need to go to more international tournaments to get more experienced so eg just have to wait patiently and make sure they qualify for as many international tournaments as possible.
Liquid need to just be more prepared mentally they’ve got the players to at least compete it’s just they need to mentally prepare for the pressure of playing on stage more and get more consistent.

That’s what needs to happen for them to stand a chance against fnatic. Will they be able to beat them probably not but it will give them a much better chance then they have now

posted about 2 years ago

The frightening thing is we may not have seen prime fnatic yet don’t forget their literal best map is out of the map pool imagine if pearl was switched with icebox it would be terrifying to a level we have never seen as never has 1 team been the best in the world at 3 different maps at the same time

posted about 2 years ago

Both Leo and derke and have went this whole tournament so far without using their best agents
Leo’s best agent is sova and derke’s best agent is jett and fnatic have still been winning it’s quite insane how you can reach a final while having 2 players not play their best agents once throughout the tournament until they reach the grand finals

The ones who managed a fluke was eg the game should never have been that close but eg kept getting lucky time and time again with the spike timings if you say fnatic flukes a win then what are eg that literally relied on luck a lot of the time to make it that close

posted about 2 years ago

You really tried sneaking in loud who were arguably the worst performing team at masters tokyo and if you are gonna say it’s just 1 tournament they will play better at masters I can use that same stupid argument about navi and team liquid.
Nrg almost got 2-0ed by team liquid and was lucky that liquid choked haven they also lost to prx with a sub and cloud9 got destroyed by eg and lost to nrg the only 2 teams at the moment who could be considered top teams based on their most recent performances is eg and maybe nrg and for emea you have fnatic and maybe team liquid and for pacific you have prx don’t act like americas dominated masters tokyo and all your teams did the best fnatic, eg and prx were the best performing teams only 1 Americas team can be considered as being at the top level at the moment

posted about 2 years ago

I feel like they might play it just to unleash derke we all know how hungry he must be feeling to play jett this tournament so I could see them let it through plus they are most likely confident that derke can take down demon1 they put up similar number while derke was only playing raze so I would favour derke in the jett head to head

posted about 2 years ago

Plus boaster said he wanted to show them dominance so I think fnatic will go into that series fully serious right from the start no messing around in fact I even think they will let fracture through and beat them on it to completely crush eg’s mental for the next map after fracture to make sure they secure the win

posted about 2 years ago

You are overestimating eg fnatic don’t care who their opponent is they will fight anyone on any match an example of taht is loud at lock-in they left ascent open and won only the 2nd ever team to do that plus the fracture game was a lot closer than people think as eg got very lucky in the 1st half they defused the spike with less than 0.2 seconds left and after that round they went on to win the rest of the rounds that half because they gained the momentum but even with that the map still ended 13-9 if that 1 round was different and fnatic won it they would of won fracture

posted about 2 years ago

They won’t beat them on those 3 maps as they lost split while derke was playing bad as long as he plays good they won’t win and also haven and ascent they will struggle a lot and probably wont win on a good day because fnatics good day completely suppresses eg’s good day especially considering derke will finally be on his best agent jett don’t forget seek hasn’t played jett all tournament so he will be very hungry on those 2 maps as he will finally be able to play his favourite agent

posted about 2 years ago

Then you are an idiot he literally tore apart that optic team who were named envy at the time in grand finals almost on his own he was the main reason it was 3-0 and envy didn’t get any maps plus he literally has 1 of the top 5 highest acs this tournament he pulled of the most insane ace to save his team at champions.
If you don’t think he’s in the goat category your insane and you either don’t watch valorant or have some sort of mental problems

posted about 2 years ago

Let’s put it like this eg have to win their map pick in the grand finals because the 1st and 3rd map will most likely be lotus and bind and we all know how good fnatic are on those maps especially lotus

posted about 2 years ago

They’ve been getting worse ever since that final against fnatic and I think the org only looked at no maps dropped and thought we are the best we don’t need to use any more money on coaching staff or anything like that while ignoring the fact that fnatic already exposed some weaknesses in the grand final taking 2 maps to ot and the final map ending 13-11 sentinels were ahead of everyone else but they were already getting pushed it’s naivety that has put sentinels in the current state they are in

posted about 2 years ago

Low key everyone is talking about Leo on split because he was a literal monster but boaster was the player that turned that map around as once he starting actually getting kills fnatic managed to stop eg’s momentum in the 1st half Leo was definitely mvp but boaster was playing good on split and I genuinely think if boaster hadn’t started to heat up fnatic would of lost split

Loud does not develop metas the best that’s fnatic they have been consistently changing the meta on multiple different maps for a long time even before loud created a valorant team or at least started competing in international tournaments.
Yes loud has developed quite a few metas but fnatic has developed even more than them and over a longer time frame as well so that really doesn’t explain it especially as I don’t think loud's harbor viper comp is as good as people think it is as fnatic the current best team in the world has been ignoring it and when nrg attempted to use a modified version against fnatic on bind they got torn apart

posted about 2 years ago

He said talent pool bit teams if you were to compare each team in the Americas to emea just based on individual talent emea would destroy Americas.
it’s just that hardly any of the teams can figure out how to play as team and actually play with a little bit of structure but if you genuinely think Americas has a better individual talent pool you are insane.
if you want to look at individual talent some t2 emea teams have multiple players who are on the same level as t1 Americas players based on individual talent it’s just Americas teams at the moment are playing with structure and aren’t letting their egos clash to much once emea teams learn how to work together they will surpass Americas

posted about 2 years ago

Also mini has been creating and affecting the meta for longer and more consistently than anyone in valorant history plus potter has said that eg’s style of play is based off of fnatic’s play style so mini is pretty much potters teacher so potter can’t be the best

posted about 2 years ago

He’s American what do you expect they are dreadful at geography they keep claiming Russia and Turkey aren’t in Europe and it’s the same as them claiming Brazil when Brazil is in South America while most of the population of Russia lives on the European side and most countries on earth recognise Russia as a European country.
It’s also the same for turkey they are widely recognised as a European country by most of the world as well it’s just Americas don’t seem to understand basic geography and are too arrogant and believe they are always right that they ignore everyone else and decide which continent are country is under even though the rest of the world recognises both Russia and turkey as European countries sure they have parts in Asia but they classified as being in Europe so in conclusion gambit was a European team

posted about 2 years ago

You say that but if navi play as bad as they were playing at masters anything can happen don’t forget eg were once thought of as the one of the worst teams in franchising and look at them now all the emea teams have at least 1 or 2 great individual player or players on their team if they start actually using these players right you never know what could happen.
I mean look at koi their team is stacked sheydos, starxo and trexx as well as a pretty good igl and a duelist that is when he’s playing his best he is actually pretty decent as well if they sort out their role issues I guess is what I would call it and start to work as a team they should be pretty good

posted about 2 years ago

Mini is the goat in my opinion no one has consistently affected the meta for as long and as much a him plus he managed to do what a lot of people considered impossible get a team full of star players and make them work together very quickly and to a ridiculously high level
He us the goat of valorant coaches imo even potter said that a lot of inspirations for eg’s playstyle comes from fnatic mini is the goat of coaches in valorant

posted about 2 years ago

Tbf you did beat fnatic the 1st time you played them at champions 2022 and pulled an insane comback verses gambit as well

posted about 2 years ago

But that’s not what I’m saying, I’m saying they would never have even gotten to overtime without som and in that very same round he is the reason it even came down to a 1v1 as well yes he made a misplay but if his team was playing better and not relying on him soo much it would not of even gotten to ot so that would not of happened

posted about 2 years ago

Marved is the igl though

posted about 2 years ago

I’m not sure that eg game I think will give the fnatic players a reminder that they are not invincible so I think they will come into the grand final even stronger no messing around and making the stupid mistakes they were making plus whether we get a good game depends on if eg or prx can win their map pick as fnatic are not losing lotus or bind although the score on fracture looks like eg dominated it was in fact very close it was a single round in the 1st half that caused eg to win when they defused with less than 0.2 seconds left as that round gave them the momentum and they ended up winning all the rounds left in the 1st half it’s only gonna get tougher for eg now that fnatic will get more footage on them
