i feel like this team could honestly be possible since aspas is going to APAC
he hasn't been exceptional compared to how much potential he has though. i feel like there haven't been many exceptional controllers besdies s0m tenz and mako since franchsiing started.
i've always loved bang as a player, but it was kinda disappointing to see him do mediocre throughout his career. he showed glimpses this year and i hope he can continue to do well next year.
n4rrate and bang bring up the ceiling by so much. though sacy and tenz are amazing players, the versatility of n4rrate and the fact that bang can play every controller just raises the ceiling by sm. also n4rrate and bang as a duo are a lot better mechanically compared to tenz and sacy as a duo.
Be on the lookout for bang. I feel like bang has had some of the best potential in all of americas for a while and now that he's gonna be on a new team, i'm super excited to see how he performs. not to mention this guys mechanics are nuts
derrek has a way higher ceiling than crashies too
i have no clue whatsoever. im assuming if someone does get dropped its beyn or foxy or both. mako buzz and flashback are NOT getting dropped anytime soon. termi loves flashback and the rest are too valuable.
not announced, but rumored. so im assuming if they do get hyunmin there will be no need for a third person who can play duelist (aspas).

We know he's going to APAC. Realistically what team is most possible? I would love to see a DRX Aspas, but I think its so unrealistic bc of BuZz and HYUNMIN. Also, they're not gonna go from a Korean-speaking roster to English just because of one player. I have heard about Bleed rumors. What other team could he possibly join?

He can frag due to his godsent mechanics, he has clutch genes as he is always clutching, he is young so his reaction time is fast, and he is the perfect player who can play initiator, smokes, kj, and yoru. he is the future. ill be back next week
besides chem and maybe experience. what more does sacy offer than n4rrate as a player? n4rrate for sure has the better firepower, flexibility, and potential. i dont see a world where anyone would choose sacy over n4rrate.

FNS- i agree his aim isnt great, but it has imprvoed
s0m- had one bad high pressure moment almost 2 years ago and you're considering that a flaw. everyone has a bad high pressure moment at least once.
verno- yes unproven, but his stats and performance in T2 was incredible + is one of the most talented mechanical players in NA rigth now
aspas- i would bait my team too if mazino and c0m only performed decent every 5 games.
ethan- he's the best flash initiator in the world. he can play kayo skye breach omen yoru and actually has really underrated aim if you actually watch his gameplay.
i think you're just a NRG hater. this team has potential and unlike the "superteam" of last year that consisted of players who havent been good for 2 years (crashies vic and marved) and were only considered good bc of legacy. this roster would indeed have firepower, would indeed have brain, and would indeed be better than the NRG of the past 2years.
id say giving demon1 a second try is worth a shot. he has been playing a lot of agents during his off season on and off stream. and he knows what his issues were and definitely worked on it.
but is easily the top 3 team of 2024

xeppaa is actgually really underrated. like yes he doesn't preform incredibly all the time, but his value as a player is really good. he has great mechancis as well

except verno is a better crashies and jawgemo is a better vic. dont forget how good ethan and s0m were in 2023. therea re no role issues with this roster either.

Jawgemo (duelist): can play any duelist and is just cracked at anything
Verno (initiator): crazy mechanics, young, and is one of the most promising players
N4RRATE (flex / secondary duelist): no explanation needed
JohnQT (igl + senti): great igl, great mechanics, and has proved himself
s0m (smokes): has some of the best mechanics i've ever seen and has proved himself once before
bonkar + potter (coach).
these players might not be the BEST rn or have proved themselves yet, but i think these are all players with incredibly high ceilings and have potential to be the best in their roles not just in Americas but in the world
edit: the flexibility on this roster is insane as well.
jawg can play any duelist, smokes, and sage
verno can play brim, kj, yoru, and any initiator
n4rrate can play basically any duelist and any initiator besides sova (woudlnt be surprised if he can play any role)
Johnqt can play any senti + viper + chamber if ever needed
s0m can play all smokes, even duelist, and sova
Will be the first ever rookie to win Americas, both masters, and champs while being MVP of each event.
to be fair though they were treating crashies vic and marved like they were world class players in 2024 when they haven't been good since 2022.
current NRG actually has good talent who aren't washed
i love marved but would have to agree. also i just don't think he has the passion anymore to become what he once was.
