I’m not sure about this. I know they are trying to get the level of competition in China up to the rest of the world, but this could end up being bad. They could also be trying to get Chinese people to watch Val esports (if they can, I don’t know the restrictions in china). I think it’s a good idea but they are being a little to aggressive with it.

I think astra will be the primary controller on this map. I could see cypher being a niche pick but kj will probably be picked most of the time. I think fade and sova will be picked equally on this map because both provide different things that are valuable. I think this has serious potential to be neons best map. I also think this map could Potentially have Yoru as a very niche pick. Kayo will be picked commonly.

Franchise teams are supposed to be the best teams in the world and can easily qualify for an international event. If you are not franchised you need to go through two tournament’s to qualify to be part of franchising next year. The challengers tournament (happening right now) and then the ascension tournament for your entire region. The regions are the americas, Europe, and Asia.
